so the local elders where i live recently had a big meeting with the hlc elders and i got a brief summary of what was said.

thought i'd share.. it seems the jws aren't capable of making a decision based on their personal conscience.

they are confused by the whole fraction thing and end up refusing the lot 'just in case' or accepting some and refusing others making them look like idiots.

it took me a long time to write this....i'm being brutally honest...i am still a reg pioneer...three sundays ago,i was praying and asking god for a sign or something because i was so confused...i told him exactly what i needed to see for me to believe.i was feeling terrible--crying and feeling sick because i was so confused.ten minutes after, i walked into the kingdom hall and to my surprise--my prayer was answered!

i soooo wasn't expecting it, even though i prayed.

so this is where almighty god wants me to be,ii've reasoned.

yet i am getting jws on the net telling me that it is not from the watchtower.

i have seen the statement from the gb member, but frankly i don't know who all the members of the gb are these days, so i have no way to really verify the truth of it.

so someone just tell me yes or no if it is from the watchtower.

I'll wager that the persons in question actually did associate with JWs. As long as they weren't baptized the WT can say they were not UJWs. If they WERE baptized the WT can still say they were not JWs because as soon as someone sins they become instantly not a JW anymore. So with that rationale, JWs are perfect people who never sin and a JW has never committed a crime in all of history.

Yes! And it also is silly to consider that the universe is Intelligent Design.. It's really more like UN-intelligent design. Lions ripping and tearing the flesh of impalas, Whales gulping down millions of tons of tiny animal plankton, plants dying and becoming fertilizer, everything becoming fertilizer in the end... And what about poop? I've always wondered why god made poop so disgusting. Why can't we poop flowers or ice cream sundaes? If I created the universe that's the kind of thing I would do.

I would not have war, or rape or any of that stuff. We'd have time travel, MAGIC, nobody would be poor, nobody would starve to death. we'd be able to fly. breathe under water. Urine would be a sweet beverage. There would be no pain. We'd live like a bunch of puppies playing around. I'm so bored with this reality. So yeah, I could do a much better job than God. I'm just banking that heaven will make up for our pitiful earthly existence.

Building 7 is the big one for me. It changed physics, as did the twin towers. The gentle grace and speed with which the buildings fell down - the precision of it all - it was like a ballet move by a very skilled dancer. It shocks the common sense of everyone seeing it. 100% of everybody seeing it said to themselves at least for a little while, "Wow! That is the exact opposite of how I would expect a building to fall if it were rammed by jets. In fact, I wouldn't expect it to fall at ALL. Or if it did maybe just partially. But to collapse upon itself in nice neat rows... it couldn't have been done cleaner if it were demoloished by specialists! Oh wait! Did I hear myself say that? Oh no, that's just too crazy. Physics itself must have changed because it is just too gruesome to imagine human beings would be so evil." Let me hear ONE person on this planet that did not say the above the first time they saw the buildings fall. ONE PERSON.

Then, if you overcame that obstacle, later that day, a trash can caught on fire in Building 7 and then POOF! Building 7 fell down upon itself in a gentle, graceful, ballet move straight out of Ballet Rousse. It folded in upon itself and didn't so much as touch another building on its way down. the fires were so minimal that it was astounding just how poorly that building must have been built. There have been many great fires in many great buildings in history. but Building 7 was such a smal fire in comparison to so many others. Entire buildings have been ENGULFED in flames and stayed erect right down to the end when the fire was put out. But apparently the designers of Building 7 hooked up the smoke alarms to girders made of jelly so that the vibration of the smoke alarms going off made the building simply fall like a leaf on a beautiful Autumn day, being caressed and held all the way down until it had ended up literally putting itself in the dumpsters and dump trucks. They didn't even need shovels to clean it up. By the time they got to the site, it was already in the landfill, so clean was the fall. Physics had changed again.

I hear the brilliant Archetectural firm that made "the Best Falling Buildings in the World" are working on a building that falls UP. Construction will be completed in 2019...
