  My Bethel Experience part 8

  well it is 4:00 a.m. in the morning and i can't sleep, so might has well write.. everything at bethel is seniority........"how long have you been here?

  " if you wanted a better room you need some seniority, rooms would go up on a bid system.

  if you were a new boy, and all your friends were new boys, it could be a year or two before you got a decent room and 10 years to get a room with its own bathroom, pre towers days.

  i was in a meeting with 3 elders from my nj cong.

  I dont really have anything useful to say here, except to say that in the two separate times I met with elders, they never asked questions that needed that much detail.

  Basically I just replied so I could jump on the I hate seanguy bandwagon.

  I really do wish you the best of luck and I hope it gets to him and he listens.

  I dont know how the "cult" thing will go over though. When I was one of those personally selected by Joe Hoopla to be brainwashed, that kind of comment would make me tune right out. You are conditioned to view any challenge to their perceived authority as persecution and it just makes your resolve that much stronger.

  has anyone called bethel to confirm that this is an official proclamation?.

  a few 1000 phone calls might get some attention... probably cause warning talks on getting your information thru emails instead of publications ... i know some of you here do call bethel on occasion..just wondering if anyone has called to ask about this latest stuff..

  the thread on the wt going into the red, and the remark on "cheap paperback bibles" made me think of the old green nwt.. there was a lot of buzz back then about why it was green.

  i heard these from various cos -.

  a) it was green to prove that it was not from christendom.

  I wish I would have saved a few of the old green bibles that I used to have. I seem to recall that they had errors that the deluxe version did not.
