Lern,to/spel;and "punctuate"!!!!!
by bigmouth inmaybe i'm tired but........at the risk of seeming overly critical,there have been a number of posts on this forum where the spelling and punctuation have been abysmal.i have no problem with the occasional error but the subjects here tend to be somewhat more complicated and it makes it too much of an effort if i have to keep re-reading things to figure out what the missing word was or where the sentence ends.one academic said it was no big deal as even his professors were poor spellers!well i've got news for you guys, if you don't sharpen up your grammer i'm not even going to try to give you the courtesy of figuring out what you're talking about.

Couldn't agree more Bigmouth.
But, while you're at it, if you had broken your long first paragraph in your post into, say, three smaller paragraphs it too would have been much easier to read.
Some posts here have huge paragraphs. If I am distracted half way through a read it is very hard to find where I was up to.

by wombat ini've made a couple of posts just now on other threads,,,,,,and i'm off to bed.. 2.15 am and a bad day.. look......whoever is running this place, you don't need thousands of idiots like me phoning and emailing the media.
they love a good story but will be totally confused if they get dozens of disjointed stories.. get organized.....all you need is email addresses.
you have the professionals to write the press releases.. we are just amateurs and will embarrass you if we attempt to do the same.. please set up a site where we can submit email addresses of the proper people that press releases should be sent to.. a simple phone call will give any of us posters the email address of the editor or religious writer of any newspaper.. if we all did that and sent it to a central source, this site could immediately release explosive material world-wide overnight.. please..........just get the email addresses and leave it to the professionals on this site to spread the news.

Help!!! About distributing press releases
by blindersoff inas i started to get into the nuts & bolts of emailing the press release about quotes to my local newspaper, i wound up wondering who to send it to.
should it go to the editor, publisher, janitor?.
should we 'take out a territory'?

I was hoping that Yesidid would suggest this.
I suggest that everyone collate suitable email addresses for their areas and submit them to a central source..
Then when the right PR is formatted by someone smarter than us they can shoot them right off.
Could someone start a site please for these email addresses. ?

Hey Star Moore............. Maybe they ate bark or roots or other hard types of vegetation?? Like...how many trees would've been left on this planet if they had been "ring barked" or had their roots eaten ? One small incision around a tree will kill it as it stops the gum from rising. I think that a tree needs roots too. Think harder.

What were the reasons you would say it was "the truth"?
by DannyBloem injust a question, because i'm trying to find out how to bring up good arguments to people still in the borg.... a) what were the reasons when you were (or are) still a jw that you would say that "you were in the truth"?.
b) and what would you say now, that were the reasons that you thought it was the troof?.

Yeah Greendawn...try explaining that to all the folk that stopped their education, took out big loans and the rest. It ruined their lives. What a damned, lying, hypocritical, smug organization.
