does anybody else out there in apostaland like the 70's music, esspecially the disco era?
i used to be a dj back in the day.
i worked at a rollerskating rink when disco was king and did private gigs as well.
Wow...I just made my 300th post...Talking about '70's disco....Again so sad.
I saw The Beatles perform live in Australia in '64. Which has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I like to show off.
They only played a few times in a small (3,000 ?) theatre here but the number of people who claim to have seen them would now fill a stadium. But I really did.
But, back to Boney M.............

I was born '45 so I sort of know disco. Sad, eh.
I cannot locate anywhere my favourite. It's the "Hallelujah in Disco".

Spectrum....Yeah, I shouldn't have said "waste". Just "run-off". Like heaps of small fish being flushed out.
But sewerage run-off is a problem. No problem at all in Queensland. But I do recall tractors with scoops cleaning up Manly beach in Sydney when the winds blew the wrong way. They had their headlights on. It looked pretty in the morning.
Watch out for those chocolate cigars in the surf.

Doofdaddy...Really so sickingly sad.
Mate, according to the reports, she was 30 metres out in chest-deep water next to a deep murky channel that is especially full of run-off waste from Moreton Bay after a storm, which we had. Full of food for predators.
This is an absolutely beautiful place to swim.
But you don't swim at dusk. And you don't have a dog in the water with you.
I wouldn't expect a 21 year old lady to know that. It's not taught in schools.
She is described as a beautiful girl, a committed Christian, who was enjoying a holiday there with 8 members of her church.
I really hope that her family's faith will give them some comfort.

Saorise......Great points. Like, they can't afford TV/radio programs ? Are they really serious about getting the "good news" out. Or is the door-to-door just a means of controlling their members.
The WTS needs a good Marketing Manager. Also, so does Jehovah. He really mucked up picking them as his Chosen People.
