  Like it or not, we have to stand by family in the Org. Any regular visitor to this site can see how the WTS is gradually disappearing up it's own a*sehole. It's a matter of time.

  The light is gradually dawning on these family members that they have wasted most of their lives.

  Don't be bitter. Don't be angry.Don't be smug. Just be there to give them a hand.

  Life is really effen short.

  genesis 6:5-7, 8:21. god decides to send a great flood to kill all humans, save noah and his family, because man's heart is evil.

  "and god saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.... and the lord said, i will destroy man whom i have created from the face of the earth.".

  later, after the flood waters recede, god promises never to do it again because man's heart is evil.

  Yeah Gumby....I understand that drowning is quite a peaceful death. It's not violent and you sort of slip off.

  So how come Jehovah gave these early dudes the good breaks and we poor bast*rds get the fire and lightning and knifeing and falling into gaping holes etc.

  everyone wanting us to share their point of view.. they want our minds, our money, our votes and our mouths to spread their propaganda.

  propaganda controls the cultural and social order of the world.. it takes more time to read, listen to thoughful educational programming and do research, so 99% of people just follow the.

  My Dad's story

  freedomlovers post about her dads letter got me thinking about my dad, in fact, it sounds like it could have been written by my dad.

  every once in a while it really hits me that he is no longer here to talk to.

  unlike most of you, i wouldnt have been afraid to approach him with questions or doubts.

  Debbie - I am going to read your powerful, happy, sad story to my 88 y.o. Mum in the morning.

  One day her jw children, grand children and great grand children who now totally ignore her will certainly regret it.

  Your father was a great man.

  It is very easy to criticize the WTS in hind-sight. I'm sure it made perfect sense to him at the time (as it did to me in the early "60s).

  He certainly loved his little girl. For sure he passed on this legacy of being able to give love to you. So he left this world a better place.

  Gumby...That is such a cool picture.

  If the WTS had any sense they would print them as posters. Publishers would be guaranteed a sale every time a young male teenager answered the door.

  Are you allowed to fall asleep at the meetings now??

  the sercuit overseer gave the expierence about an interested one who would come to the meetings every sunday but admitted he would always fall asleep because he worked a double shift at work the night before.

  the s.o said: "and sure enough he fell asleep during my talk.

  " but he said that it was so encouraging because even though he worked the night before he still tried to get what little he could of the talk and the guy related afterwards: "i would not want to be caught falling asleep anywhere else but at the hall.
