Why don't Dub families have pets?

at mt ex-congo, i only knew of two families with pets, dogs/cats.
the non-dub pet owning percentage around me is near 100%.

Here we all are sitting around having a friendly chat about nothing of particular importance..just chatting to each other...and into the room bursts some bloke called Laser who starts abusing everyone.
What a pain in the butt. All of 29 years old and rudely throwing his weight around like that. I wonder if he is/was a MS?

The boy is a loser.
It is so easy to hack into a site. .I'd bet it took him a very long time though. He'd being counting every minute for his monthly report.

James....I am sure that you are right. But here's a quote from the article.
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 the Watchtower society is required to provide the web hosting company with a letter that details all of the alleged copyright violations. This letter is to be written under penalty of perjury. After repeated requests the owner of the website has yet to receive this letter, yet his website was still taken down by the web hosting company.
So....is the WTS embarrassed to use this cowardly defence...or are they just to haughty to respond?

Governing body and food at the proper time
by snarf ini had a sister call on me the other day and asked if i wanted to attend the book study with her.
i asked her how the governing body knew which topics to post in the magazines and what subjects the elders need to talk about for public talks.
she never answered my question, but assured me it was covered in the chapter they were studying in the daniel book.

The final paragraph of the press release demonstrates the arrogance of the WTS.
It would appear that they never had a case against Quotes in the first place. Else they would have given their reasons by now. Obviously they had none.
But who's gonna fight their (free?) in-house lawyers with billions of dollar to back them up?.
The WTS won the case but lost their credibility.
When faced with a powerful bully with unlimited back-up, only a fool wouldn't turn away.
How many JWs stay in the Org because they love it. Or are they scared of the bullying they would face if they left?
