Sure, there has to be a moral line in the sand drawn at some point, thats why my personal belief is that its all right for consenting adults. That is where my line in the sand is drawn and I believe society should feel that way too. I know a majority of society DOES feel that way (in that sex with a minor of any gender is wrong, or sex with animals, sex with dead people, etc).
But then to actually say science has proven anything would be a tremendous fallacy. There is a lot of data and a lot of studies that suggest certain things, but there is nothing conclusive. Furthermore even though I believe that it may be something genetic, I know there is no proof for this, only my observations of homosexuals that I know.
My personal opinion is that we have nothing more to fear from homosexuals than we do with heterosexuals, and the things we fear from each of them have little to do with a sex act.

Elders coming...i'm shaking in my boots...NOT! Any help?
by searchfothetruth ini had a phone call last night from one of the elders asking if they can come around.
when i asked him why he said it was to discuss whether i would be interested in having a study.. this is strange as i have been baptised since i was 14 and left about 4 years ago and have had little contact with any witnesses except my parents, but, the only thing that has changed over the last few weeks is that i put together a 50 page report documenting a range of subjects including the un involvment etc and give it to my mum.
then within a week the elders want to ask my to have a study!.

Just remember that you are not dealing with honorable people, they are merely dumb terminals connected to a mainframe in Brooklyn. They don't have any personal conscience, just one that is dictated to them, so don't expect them to act like rational human beings. Their whjole life structure is based around this religion so they will defend it using any sort of twisted reasoning, the truth would be too damaging to their sense of purpose. They have to go around making gigantic mental leaps of acrobatic reasoning every day just to justify their way of life, its old hat to them and deeply ingrained.

I think certain people are predisposed from birth to Homosexuality. How unfair is it them to hold these people to a heterosexual standard? The way I see it, a gay man is just as attracted to men as I am to women, I wouldn't want someone telling me its wrong to be attracted to women, that I was evil for it, it's just the way I am.
As far as what consenting adults do in their bedroom thats their decision and none of my business.

Its a part of the overall plan and solution to the problem, yes. I don't think anyone, including Bush or Blair is advertising this as the only thing that needs to be done to ensure security, but its one of the things that need to be done.

If you just want to give them a hard time then ask the tough questions. Questions about their history, the changing doctrines back and forth. You obviously have done a lot of research, you know what will make them squeal. And yes have that disassociation letter handy, because its either going to be that or they will DF you. You didn't expect to win the argument did you?
