Wow, and we used to charge $.25 per mag at the door "to cover the cost of printing". Insane.
while surfing e-watchman's paradise forum, i clicked on one of the topics i never go to, "our meetings & assemblies" and found an interesting post on the wt bleeding financially.. it was posted 3 months ago.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/viewtopic.php?t=2888&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0.
in my neck of the woods (which shall remain anonymous) the do and co have been circulating the rumour that the watchtower society is in financial straights and is being bled dry.
this must be very pressing.

I wonder if there is a way to set up something like this overseas that is out of the reach of the WT's lawyers.

Think he prayed to Jah before the verdict?
after leaving the jws can you recall any instance(s) where more or less suddenly becoming aware of a hitherto unconscious wts idea(s) subtly programmed into your mind, brought a great positive change in your persective of things and your overall disposition?
(once a subconscious idea is brought up to awareness it is easier to dispose of.
or perhaps the above happened when you really grasped the meaning of a programmed idea you were always consciously aware of.
I cared about people who were "gonna die"

WTF happened to you??!!
i remember going to the assemblies and conventions and feeling encouraged by the information that was presented.
in hindsight, i may have just felt that way because that's how you were supposed to feel.
i was a 100% brainwashed fool for many years, if the gb said it, i did, i felt it and i believed it .
After I grew older, got married and had kids...and couldn't flirt with the ladies anymore...the Assemblies got downright tedious.
Word.
there is a general impression that asperger's syndrome carries with it superior intelligence and a tendency to become very interested in and preoccupied with a particular subject.
most children with asperger's disorder have difficulty interacting with their peers.
they tend to be loners and may display eccentric behaviors.
When I was still a witness there was this really nice witness girl I used to talk to who lived in Canada who had it. I forget what her name was, but it will come to me eventually. I sometimes wonder what ever became of some of those people.
there had been some buzz because no one was supposed to know about the release.. i swear everyone at my hall must be visitors to this forum.
or the elder's wives network must've done their usual job of telling everyone.. i would have expected an applause.
not even a line of people to get the book.
Well it looks like a lot of you guys still go, so they must be doing something right.
someone sent these state motto's to me and i was curious to know if any of us could make some up for the jw's?

i posted the state mottos to get us started.
