Kate, I know what you are trying to say. but why did God let Satan loose on the human race in general? Would the world be so BAD or EVIL with Satan dead or gone. Most of us want peace and try to live a good life and help our fellows who are less forunate AND that is WITH Satan as the God of this world. Would Nimrod have turned against God if it had not been for Satan? As I said: I feel we are pawns being used....

I am sorry Dr. Jekell for the loss of your beautiful little nephew....So many people have the same question as you do. If there is a God why oh why does he let these things happen. Many have lost their faith and I don't blame them. We can't or don't have the power to fight back...The deed is done and we are left with our empty heartache until the day we oursleves die. Don't forget that Satan had a hand in this too......Sometimes I feel we are pawns being used by both God and Satan.

bland wallpaper, bland paint, no pictures, no windows, maybe a fake plant or fake flowers, the big sign with the years text, the cork board, and contribution boxes.
boring.. what would you put into a kingdom hall to make it look more interesting?

The same adornments they have Patterson....chandeliers, waterfalls, and special paintings by talented publishers. AND the most important of all...comfortable cushioned seats with a side arm for writing notes and reading books. Maybe take a nap also.

I remember the story of the brothers who were in a foreign country, maybe it was Russia,. They wre trying to bring the Watchtower mags and books over the border when they discovered a spy was among them. As they were hiding in the woods from the soldiers the spy went out to reveal where they were and he was hit by lighting and fell dead.
I thought that a laughable and made up story.

i was wondering, when you where in the borg did you ever wonder what these "lies" were.. its a strange thing but i never did.
i never even knew what they said about us and i didnt care.. in other walks of life, if you hear that someone has been lied about, you usually want to know what it is (well i do cos im nosey) but in all my 20 years i didnt wonder about what the apostates were saying.
