  Assemblies: Queues (Lines) at the Ladies, and taping over mirrors

  this topic sufaces here every now and again, with people reporting on the way that in some locations, the brothers tape paper over the mirrors in the ladies toliets, in order to speed things up and reduce queues.

  Has the WTS ever sued a "brother" or any baptised Witness?

  hopefully someone has some information on this.

  i think it is an important question because from recent observation on another jw website, it has come up that some jw bethelites are suing the wts in workers comp cases after getting injured while at bethel.

  this is big news to me since i have a similar case outstanding right now.

  The WTS is GREEDY without a doubt....I realized that long before I left the Borg....They have different scams going on with the naive JW members 24/7. In our KH the promise was a new KH and so we rasied money for the new KH....Well it turned out the Borg needed the money for preaching work and missionaries in Africa so the Overseerer at the time just handed over the KH money to the Borg. It was then I knew this religion was a CULT and SCAM.

  first of all want to thank you all for informing me of the good the bad and smurfly about jws - i was so stoked when these two sister's knocked on my door.

  i apologise now - i was a smug git - in fairness they conducted themselves impeccably in the face of me.

  this is how it went (paraphrased to highlight 'clever' bits i said and downplay swathes of conversation when i said silly things.

  Good questions....I would have ask...Do you need to go to the meetings to be saved by God's son Jesus Christ? Regardless of their answer....God's word doesn't say we need to worship in any particular place or go to any meeting to build one another up.

  i know i don't post much, but this board has been a source of confort to me in my journey out of the borg.

  that is why i want to share with my online friends that my beagle, remington, is very ill and i would appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.

  he is only 8-yrs-old and is my baby.

  My heart goes out to you. I have had two beloved pets (dogs) die in 12 years and it was like my child had past away. It is not easy. I didn't want any more dogs after that BUT I gave in and took two more into my home. Taking another pet after a month or two of mourning, helped me over the over whelming sadness I felt.

  heheh i only just signed up on the weekend, thought id see what the fuss was about.. well now im addicted, i sit there and check how my bids are going on a regular basis, im always looking up new things.

  its sooo much fun, well for me a boring housewife anyway.. hubby calls me ebay now.

  Parakeet? I have household Items that are bulky and wondered how does one ship these Items to the winning bib. Items like antigue dressers and mirrors. OR can you make your sell to locals only who come and pick the Item up?

  Are high gas prices affecting Pioneers?

  gas prices have finally broken through the $3 mark.. i have heard a few complaints about the cost of gas having an impact on people's budgets - especially if they pioneer.. it gets worse for those pioneers who drive an suv.. have you heard similar comments?

  could the pioneer numbers be affected by the price of gas?

  If the pioneers could only realize they are publishers for the Watchtower and NOT Jehovah....they could at least ask the WTS to reimburse them for gas and wear and tear on their vehicles OR provide a mini bus or two. The WTS is such a SCAM!
