today i had to go for an annual work physical, and the doc is someone that has known my family from when we first were married .
he isn't my personal physician, but worked with my husband for years when my mate was an emt.

we talk all the time, and since she knows i am wiccan and do not consider myself christian and am against the witnesses.
she never brings it up, so that we can have a censored relationship.

hi free! it's sad. i am going through the same thing with my mom. i tell her i know the "scoop" on the org since I was at bethel but she comes back saying, "but we must make our meetings for Jehovah." Crap! anyway
They were basically saying that end was coming so soon, that we might not be able to even have an assembly next year.
At our DA they said they were planning next years assembly! WTF???
Yes. Where would we be if it wasn't for this site??? This site has saved my mental health.

peachtree rebates suck!
They sent me a thin postcard (which could easily be lost in the mail) saying that my rebate was invalid. I call them and we clarify the problem. They said expect your rebate 3-6 weeks. 3-6 weeks is up and I call again. They said something to the extent of "we are sorry for the delay" expect it in 2 weeks. 2 weeks is up. I call again. Bla bla bla, we are sorry, expect it 3-6 weeks. I said wait up. Let me speak to your supervisor. The supervisor was nice (at least I hope.) He was sorry and said I should expect it in 10 days. Bastards...they owe me $150.00.
Their operations are in India.

It is a scary thing to adjust to the real life. I can comprehend x completely. You basically have to start life all over again. It is a shock as many who have been there can attest. Seems like many here cannot comprehend what you are going through. But nonetheless they have provided good advice as to how to proceed from the bottom up. Buddy, you cannot go further down. It's time to take the reigns and start to manage your life.

Convention badges worn at Wal-Mart
by purplesofa inlast night i was at wal-mart with a friend of mine.. as we were going in .......i saw a group of people with convention badges on.
they seemed out of place on a sat evening, dressed in suits and christian attire.. i could not help but think that they just had two days of their spiritual feeding and the superior feeling that comes over jw's at that time.
the leaving of the convention out into the world.. here i was, feeling "worldly" .......i felt a tinge of guilt go through me for not being at the convention.
