this has already been mentioned on another thread, but thought i'd start a new one dedicated to the story:.

I have used E-Bay for numerous (100s) of transactions and it's fine.
Note the advice on this thread and realize that you're dealing with people (the buyers and the sellers) and some are cheats but most are honest.
The rating system works well and you are able to interact via the "ask seller a question" functionality so .... proceed with caution and confidence.
Good luck.
for those who have spelling problems you can go to google and down load their tool bar.
it has spell check in it and works pretty easy.
then you will no longer have to listen to us that bitch about spelling.
For those who have spelling problems you can go to Google and down load their tool bar.By the way, that should be "download".
the punctuation should be placed inside the quotation marks ...like this: "downlaod." ....unless you live in England. :-)
auld soul posted about a mirror site at www.reexamine.org/quotes/index.htm and so i checked it out.
i went onto the homepage www.reexamine.org and surfed around a bit and clicked onto the "community portal" and found a download section: .

To write the ISO file to a CD your CD burning software must be able to support the process.
I had to download a freeware application and ...presto.... it worked fine.
here is the freeware link http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm
" How can I write ISO files to CD?"
It's easy to download and the CD works great.
well, thank god we went in there eh?
obviously, it was to stop abuse (after the previous excuses fell through).. now that things are as bad as under saddam, i guess that puts the final nail in the lie that they went in to help the people (you know, after their previous lie fell through).. is anyone still under any illusion that bush, blair and co. give a shit about the people or are competent enough to organise anything other than a complete fuck up?.

You obviously are too emotionally charged on this issue at this time and are allowing that to cloud your ability to understand what I am writing...let alone refute it.
As very small example:
what in the hell does 9/11 have to do with the war on Iraq? Iraq wasn't even a peripheral player in 9/11. We aren't discussing 9/11
What I suggested was
...the 9/11 Commission's Report? [has] ...very interesting explanations on how intelligence gathering occurs (or doesn't).
I was not stating that 9/11 had ANYTHING to do with the effort to free the people of Iraq and protect America. I was suggesting that one could get much needed (evidently) information on how intelligence is actually gathered by read that report. Period.
But, AuldSoul, you missed that point. It was a simple, clearly stated premise 'the 9/11 report gives insight into intelligence gathering.'
Yet you respond "what in the hell does 9/11 have to do with the war on Iraq? Iraq wasn't even a peripheral player in 9/11. We aren't discussing 9/11"
So it is clear that much of the argument is um ...er..."escaping" you. In your defense, it is probably due to an obvious emotional reaction ...
I'm certain you're a nice person and all that but ...if you interpret my statement '9/11 report can help one understand intelligence gathering' and imply that I am making a connection between the Iraq War and 9/11 ...then .... either you're clouding by emotionalism or ...you're employing a brand of "theocratic warfare."
My son has science homework so ...you get the last word ...for tonight at least. :-)

AuldSoul,
You are taking a complex topic and trying to simplify it ...so naturally you'll leave some important information out...but you're leaving too much out ....and you are being less than accurate.
One question: Have you read the 9/11 Commission's Report? I have. Some very interesting explanations on how intelligence gathering occurs (or doesn't).
Your lack of knowledge on these matters is evident in statements like
The war was started on faulty intel, the claim was made the intel was solid. Congress voted based on that Presidential promise.
To what "promise" you refer is anyone's guess .... (I've stop trying to make sense of arguments when people express their opinions as facts).
The truth is, you really don't know what this government or that government or another government "said." You know what you've been told they said. Get it?
Read the 9/11 Commission's Report.... you'll (hopefully) understand a bit more about how these matters REALLY work .... and don't be so gullible....I thought most folks on this board left their sheep-like days behind them?
alzheimer's could be diabetes-like illness, study suggests
http://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/20051130/hl_hsn/alzheimerscouldbediabeteslikeillnessstudysuggests
by steven reinberg.
I've seen family members waste away from cancer and my uncle is currently wasting away on the inside from Alzheimer's.
It is far from clear which is preferable.
Alzheimer's is an insidious disease that strips away every ounce of dignity.
Unless seen up close and personal, folks often don't get it ...even joke about it ... I understand that they are simply ignorant of its impact but ....I have nothing but sympathy for the victims of Alzheimer's and, as importantly, their families (or primary caregivers).

The main thing I really hate about the situation is that those opposed to the war did not even have a voice in congress nor did they bother with the senate vote .
Could you explain more here please?
Who did "not have a voice" in congress? Folks "against the war" both elected their congressperson and have the same access to their congressperson as those "not against" the war.
Sorry if I'm being dense but .... how can you write "those opposed to the war did not even have a voice in congress" and a few words later bemoan "BS" ???
Seems just a bit disingenuous to me.
