i always preferred the back of the hall.
here, i could go to sleep, read the latest awake!
if you're at either end of the middle row of seats, you can see who has studied their watchtower and who hasn't.
When I was with my parents we would always sit in the middle and we took up practically the whole row (parents+6 kids).
Whenever we would start to fade it always on the side very close to the windows near the back. I got up at least 3-4 times "to use the restroom."
i'll start:.
hey brother smith, how about if we go preach the good news tomorrow morning, hey?
pick you up at 9

Sorry Annie, but I was in Springfield Ohio.....I wasn't even born yet when you were
in Mass lol.
i was thinking today, as i dealt with my son trying to throw a fit for not getting something he wanted, "you know this kind of behavior makes him look like a spoiled brat.
" yet it also makes him act like the christian god, so maybe that is something the world would accept.
you see, when the bible mentions this loving god, then describe him like this .... god created mankind (the first couple) with free will.
I agree, 100%.
How many times did this happen though? He's the one that created humans in his image, yet he blamed the humans for f'ing up so many times. Instead taking a step back and realizing that he brought this all on himself, he very much acted like a spoiled brat and threw the biggest tantrums ever known. If he's the Supreme Being and totally perfect how can he possibly do that and people still follow him?!?!?
.
in the story of jonah, god says he is going to destroy ninevah jonah 3:3 ..."forty more days and nineveh will be overthrown".
but then god's compassion comes and he spares nineveh, does god change his mind?
Poor old man....he's suffering from alzheimers.
One day we're going to see Jehovah walking down a street butt nekkid asking what millenium he's in.
some days are just worse than others: my mother screamed at me for like 10 minutes because i was running late for the bookstudy!
i don't even wanna go to these things!
and ever since that damn km that came out a couple months ago telling family heads the importance of having a regular family bible study my father won't even let a week pass by without us all gathered around the living room doing a question and ansewr out of the secret to family happiness book.
I can definitely relate to blondie's upbringing and with the overbearing of family bible studies as well. We also had to raise our hands. There were more of us but still my father wanted to act like he was an elder or something. Nothing could get past him. I tried the whole reading the answer from the paragraph verbatum thing but didn't work at all.
I also remember one sunday I got into so much trouble for not commenting at the meeting.
So glad I don't have to deal with that BS ever again.
dont ask me why, but my family and friends call me "skinner"!
how about you?
i know a few who have several different ones.
My childhood nickname has always been "weeble." From what I've heard I was a chubby little thing and hence the weeble nickname came into existence.
My real name is Rachel.
Hello all. I'm a newbie as well.
I was born and raised as JW in a very strict household. I finally left it all back in '99.
I really love the site!! So nice to see many other people who have the same questions and feelings as I do.
