I reckon you could answer based on agnostic, atheistic or some other beliefs. Surely they don't believe that everyone has a "religeous" belief. The main thing is that you put across a reason for why you believe what you do..............I bet you could write scrolls on that!?

Stability to Chaos - A Survival Guide
by LittleToe inthe thread title is a reference to how i hope this thread will evolve, rather than my own pretentious aspirations.. for many of us, perhaps especially if we were raised as jws, the whole world was pretty black and white.
we knew what we were doing, why we were here, where we were going, in the midst of a chaotic world we had a stability that others envied - or so we thought.... for most of us reading this site our eyes have likely at some point been opened to realise that many of our previous strongly-held beliefs were dust.
if we have left the wts or been forcibly ejected then we have also experienced shunning.

Music plays a huge part in my life, I'm in two bands (mainly jamming). and involved with a couple of theatre/charity performing groups.
I love writing songs, i guess that's kind of poetry.......

Multitrack audio recording in the basement
by Twitch inone of my hobbies is recording original music with either of the two bands i play in.
i've got a roland si24 8 track interface/control surface and use sonar on the pc, various plugins (waves native bundle dx plugins for mixing and isotope ozone for mastering) .
just finished one cd for one project with another in the mastering stage.

I've got a couple of bands on the go with my husband and some friends.
Weve done some demo tracks with a little zoom effects palm studio. it's only 3 track, but you can bounce down when happy with what you've got and add more. just for fun, but it's a feel good!

It's judgment day with mum and dad
by sass_my_frass inwell, it's been brewing for a long time and i was getting ready for it, but i've finally gotten the shun-for-life from my folks.
i was going to visit them in a few months and had arranged to see my non-witness grandparents for a few days too, and invited them along.

What a beautiful reply.
Hang in there if you know that your parents love you. My parents shunned me and my sisters for a couple of years but they couldn't continue to do so. Your folks have been in so long and have been truly brainwashed, they think that they are doing this for your own good
Your letter was loving, patient and understanding of where they're coming from, pity it doesn't work both ways.
I wonder what they think jesus would do in a similar situation?!

Hope you had a great time, and experienced some of the real Greece.
My Husband is Greek/Australian, and when we visited Greece some places were just catering to the tourists, turned into a "little Britain"! You couldn''t buy a Greek coffee, people were eating fish and chips and reading the Mirror in the cafes.We had an unreal holiday and saw/experienced lots.

Some people don't like to know the sex before the birth, but I thought it was lovely knowing before and made you feel even closer to the baby.
You'll be holding your wee girl before you know it.

now you have to ask yourself whether you are going to follow what they ask you to do...................drop it and leave it in Jehovah's hands. To continue pushing your point with Bethel isn't going to get you anywhere............as far as they're concerned
