we in last few weeks have found some very disturbing things in our search such as the un involvement.
after research on these things and use of the wt library the society speaks for it's self on these issues calling the un the "disgusting thing" that the book of daniel spoke about(wt 85' para.

Just after reading some of the replies you got I wonder if you may find it better to introduce yourself under the 'Friends' heading.
I found out about the UN fiasco about two months ago.It had a similar effect on me as would finding out my wife had been having a 10 year affair with my sworn enemy and then dismissing it as of no consequence when a stranger caught her out.I had to 'divorce' her.
The shock of being one of Jehovahs Witnesses and being affiliated with The Scarlet Coloured Wild Beast meant I had to get out immediately.But take some time to read some of the threads here from people VERY MUCH LIKE YOU!

Talking with 9th Grade JW Niece
by Why Georgia inlast night we went to visit my sil and her 3 kids.
my sil is a jw but very nice and never pushes her beliefs upon anyone else.
she's been df'd 2-3 times but is currently reinstated.. i was trying to talk with our niece.

Why Georgie that,s brilliant!Sounds like just the tonic your niece needed and sis is definitely having doubts.
Just one thing.......(I don't want our niece to be forced to be a plumber or car mechanic)These are fairly well paid and sought after jobs over here,don't tell me you want her to be a lawyer or a medical specialist of some sort.Come to think of it, we can always do with more lawyers.Pete -

by Ellie ini would like to write a thread to tell you all about my mother, however it would be very long and complicated and deeply personal, exploring feelings that i don't even know if i have.
but basically, she told me the other day that shes very ill, she needs an operation but the doc has said she wouldn't survive it, this has made me feel so guilty and terribly sad.. what i'd like to ask you guys though is, do you think a child can be so naughty that as an adult its mother should continue to judge, and chastise in public?.
i understand that you don't know the full story, even i don't know the full story but i'd appreciate any comments you have to offer.

the mans friend my partner in business was at my house at 6:00 the go hunting on my place.
after he went hunting he left to find what had happened to his friend because he had not shown up.

Ellie, I eventually made it clear to my mother that she had to grow up or get help.Even though she's your mum she will have to meet you on an adult level. Guilty feelings for past wrongs can kill you.I was once told that a person dies the way they lived.I'm really sorry to hear of your mums illness.Let us know how things go.Pete
