  Two lists for the apointed?

  the parttakers at the memorial service has always been counted and the number is put in the annual report.

  someone told me however that these days the parttakers is counted and divided in to an a-list and a b-list.

  the ones who makes it to the a-list is the serious, mature and believable persons and these people makes the number of breade eaters and wine drinkers in the annual report.

  In many congs. after the count had been taken of the partakers the P.O. would ask if such and such partook and if he was counted.
  
  The implication was that the elders probably 'adjusted' the count to exclude the crazy and ignorant before informing the branch.

  i just learned that one of my children has bi-polar illness,,,i am so disheartened for him,,,,do any here know about this.

  Yes. Lots of time spent with bipolar people. There are degrees.
  
  Unfortunately I'm like darkuncle, chronic endogenous depression, dysthymia.
  
  And only been off meds 2 days. They're coming this afternoon I hope.
  
  Not talking much today, sorry.
  
  IMHO, meds AND therapy are required to 'control' many psych. disorders.

  talking with my father (exjw) me (exjw) family 60% still jw he mentioned that fallen angels can no longer materialise into human form................. he says they they were forbidden after the flood........... i do watch, read and speak to many ex-freemasons (illuminati) and they are very confident that even today fallen angels have the power or means to take on forms if they wish to (even human) ............................... what do jw's use as a scriptual basis for this argument......................????.

  Yes, I read this the same as you and Jude 6 doesn't seem to imply anything different.
  
  The WT writers know they can get away with making arbitrary statements like this and no one will question them. Witnesses are generally lazy students scripturally. They are told that all the hard work has been done for them so why waste time studying!?
  
  The 'spiritual darkness' refers to divine knowledge from Jehovah. So I guess the demons can do pretty much what they like in their own realm.

  They use 2 Peter 2:4 to show that the materialized angels were sent to Tartarus, pits of dense darkness, as punishment for coming to earth and bonking women who gave birth to the giant Nephilim.
  
  This occured at the time of the flood when all wicked mortals were drowned.
  
  Page 95, para. 12 of the Live Forever book asserts that God has not permitted these angels to take on fleshly bodies.
  
  Does that help or confuse?

  the phrases still roll off my tongue, "a god of tender mercies", a god in whom there is no injustice", a god who "protects the little one.".

  in spite of those worn out platitides, if i walked in to a court room and saw the name "jehovah god" in metallic letters on the door, i would ask my attorney to make a motion to have the judge recused.

  i would prefer to take my judicial chances with any ticket-fixing, bribe-taking, alcoholic, mafia-controlled human judge than face the uneven, irrational and obscene judicial decisions made by god jehovah.. i cite the case of king david of israel.

  As I read each posts I didn't see anyone claiming not to believe in God. Did you?
  
  Are you aware that you didn't make any objective comment on the valid observations made but attacked the persons motives, not the evidence?
  
  Please, now, give your opinion on the subject at hand. Why does the inspired record show God behaving in this way? Or do you not believe the Bible?

  my rest was disturbed by a midnight phone call from a goblin who did not stay on the line - ass!

  now i look outside at 0130 as i prepare to leave to my job, which is outside in the elements.

  it is pouring down rain and the wind is blowing about 35 miles an hour.
