Bigmouth, I'm sure that hasn't been done in a LONG time. Don't you know that the annointed need to butt out of the org's business? They've said so lately.

oneoftwelve and i are moving to melbourne with our 15 year old son soon.. she's transferring to one of the spotlight stores and my boy's looking to further his footballing (soccer) career.. can anyone recommend a secondary school and a good suburb/area to live?

My long departed (dead) anointed friend told me how it works:
The remnant around the world are "moved" to write about a particular spiritual subject and send it to the branch office in their country who in turn forward it to the Governing Body.
When the GB get enough letters on the same subject from the anointed, it is seen as direction from Jehovah and that becomes the subject for the next WT article.
However.....I don't know if the present 'remnant' still labour under this illusion.

When I get into musings like this Moshe, I usually end up concluding that Jehovah is going to perform a big magic trick and solve the problem.
It seems that anything that can't be thought through to its logical end will just be solved by a miracle.
you spent months,years or even decades as a christian.you sacrificed everything for god,gave him everything you had,you would speak every day for him to others and would live as a person dedicated to god.what did you receive in return after all your efforts?did he help you when you were in need?if yes,are you 100% sure that he was the one who helped you?could you feel his holy spirit in your life?.

No. Never. Despite years of prayer, study, field service and being 'careful' I never experienced anything that remotely suggested God had taken any particular interest in me.

if the governing body was truly convinced themselves of the impending disaster and the fact that the end is imminent would they not focus their efforts in spreading the message through effective means such as telephone, television, internet, social networks etc?

so i get a knock on the door and a minister from a local 7th day adventists is at my doorstep.
it felt very much like a witness.
he asked me about my life and how things were going and if i was a christian.. i explained to him that i gave up christianity a while back and he asked why.
I've had a visit from the 7th Day Adventists here in NZ too. Many moons ago now. The Catholics have actually visited as well.
i was bane and i think i got banned because everytime i tried to log in i couldn't.
i was defending the society as best as i could.

Crikey! I broke into a cold sweat when I read this thread.
My eldest son got married last Saturday and at some point, at the reception, the bloody Chicken Dance came on and had more dancers than any other song.
I was mortified. Black Sheep could be right.
