"... don't forget that NOTHING YOU DO IS EVER ENOUGH."--babayaga.
This is one of the realisations I kept with me as I went in and out of psych. wards.
I have a propensity for perfectionism and the structure of the org. is such that this striving to do more sets me up to never do anything well enough.
The WTB&TS has such a high results expectation of its slaves that the feelings of self worth plummet to the point where we give up or realise that we are so unworthy of life we may as well end it now.

Lorenz Reibling, Knocking, and the WTS
by Jourles infirst off, i'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone else would like to take a stab at where this might lead.
scandalous?
probably not, but interesting nonetheless.. if you take a look at the knocking website, you will notice at the bottom of each page is a list of supporters.

"when she asserted that it was proven that people who had had heart transplants afterwards exhibited changed personalities! "
Alpheta, I can confirm that was not an uncommon belief among Witnesses where I lived too. I recall as a teenager and hearing this that it was very exciting because it seemed to be some secret kind of knowledge that the medical fraternity hadn't discovered yet. -

I know of two or three. My Best Man, (an elder), had his 15 year old son suicide by CO2 about 5 years ago.
I was there when this bright, happy boy was born. Living in another part of the country and fading I didn't get to see him grow up. Got no sense from anyone at the non-KH funeral. One jerk tried to assert it was caused by listening to too much debasing music! I was too angry and depressed to talk to his Dad.
I've posted before about my suicidality which has only just improved after nearly 30 years.
Kind thoughts to all

Did u want to leave the org bcause u were doing something immoral?
by Will2Power in..and then sought to justify your leaving the organisation/religion by researching websites like this (to salve your conscience, justify continuing in your pleasurable but unscriptural lifestyle), or did you sincerely leave purely because you discovered certain false teachings, scandals, etc, while still living a moral, christian lifestyle?
be honest now, i mean really honest.
(this is not meant to offend anyone but viewed like a survey).

Nope. I lived a clean honest life and was still generally known as a JW although I had not been to meetings for several years. Actually I developed depression and went to see the Evil Mind Doctors for help, so I guess that was 'immoral'.
I had noticed the lack of love in the org. well before I visited sites like JWD. -

Arrangement. The marriage 'arrangement', the book study ' arrangement', the elder 'arrangement' and so on.
