  Sisters, did you feel inferior to Brothers?

  would you have prefered to be treated equally to brothers, but with all the responsibilities that go with it?.

  I think the question implied not "did you feel inferior" but Did you feel like you were looked upon as inferior. I could be wrong about that though. Being as young as I was and having been raised by my mother (I'm a guy by the way, though I would like to offer my view as to whether or not I thought of women as inferior), I never thought of women as inferior (as regards their treatment by the restrictions), but later on after reflecting upon the restrictions put on them how could one not feel lower class?

  Anyhow, I like the comment that says if it weren't for women, there would be no congregation. How true is that? I saw a lot more single women dragging kids to the hall than single men dragging kids. Not that there weren't any, but certainly not the majority.

  a mate of mine used to live in penshurst, and i had to pass the corner pet shop to get to his place.

  more often than not, a small black and white cat was sitting just out of the doorway in front of the shop.

  he was sitting patiently, with that dreamy, half-asleep expression cats sometimes get, looking up at the cages full of birds fluttering around!.

  My cat kicks the crap out of my dog on a regular basis. If I throw the dog's toy into my bedroom, my dog will take five minutes looking for the cat before hurrying in to get his toy.

  This discussion board itself practices self-censorship. Does that mean that the owner of the site does not support free speech? No. But he likes being able to have people here with the goal of meaningful discussion. If there were no censorship, many of the lively discussions would be lost in a sea of madness. I think the problem you have with your idea is what freedom of speech means.

  I could run around saying I hate fat people. Am I allowed to do that? Yep. Free speech baby. Now lets say, I run a business, perhaps a candy shop, and one day out of the blue, I put up a sign that says "I am ashamed to live in a city where there are fat people". Am I allowed to do that? Yes, freedom of speech. Would I still expect fat people to give me the same amount of business that they may have before I expressed my views? Does that mean that fat people who support free speech would have to keep coming to my store? HOW IS THIS ANY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THE DIXIE CHICKS HAVE DONE?

  if the government had this policy .... given that 100% of the terrorist who did 9/11 were arab, and most terrorist are arab.

  we as a government will racially profile the arab population and visitors to our country.

  spending more time inspecting them, checking them out, and making sure that they are singled out and watched more then any other race.. would this offend you?.

  Define hardcore Islamic beliefs. If you believe that Allah wants you to kill the infidel if he refuses to worship him, then yeah. I could probably go without witnessing the strip search though.

  The answer probably depends on where you live (like, what country?). If you live in the US then: no. If you are looking for a biblical answer, then you need to change the premise of your question to some good "bible-based" answers.

  this morning i got her reply:he will thrive in the new system when he will be able to get up close and personal with all wild creatures without fear.
