We all know that there is absolutely no competition within the ranks of the JW Organization . . . . .
Get this new rant over to the media at Raw Story & others who broke Tony the TightPants a month or so ago! I can't do it, but can someone else do it?

Huh? Rants about college, and then NO college, and then allows a college educated Brumley to interview him? The man has lost his marbles, clearly. Old aged? I'm surprised WTS legal hasn't used the Vaudeville Hook to take him off his stage. But, then again, birds of a feather flock together . . . . -

Should I even bother telling someone what I think of their parenting . . . .any advice?
by skeeter1 inthe situation: a neighbor's child and mine have played together for 8 years.
her mother is a single parent, and a probable narcissist.
loves designer clothes, bentleys, money, will not date a regular joe or even a rich man who doesn't drive the right car, wear the right clothes, etc.

I don't think they let the child actually drink, they ordered 'virgin versions' of the adult drinks. But, when the waiter brang the real drink, everyone chuckled alot. And, when the waiter said, "Oh, I thought you were over 21", then everyone chuckled even more. And, the girl kept talking about how cool it was that someone brought her a real drink, thinks she's older, etc. You know how waiters work, all compliments and 'very good choice sir' type of brown-nosing.
Then adults did drive over 100 miles an hour through parts of South Florida back roads to get to the Keys, and they took the girl into Key West bars. Last year, the mom said that they didn't need to wear seatbelt because they were in an expensive car. (that's how stupid she is . . .so I reminded her of Lady Diana and that any object not strapped in in any car will go flying forward when it stops.)
Good point, the only fun the girl gets to have anymore is to "go out" with her mom and her friends.
Just sad. Yep, we are distancing ourselves.

Well, my JW relatives called to tout Roku to me. They didn't tout JW.org, but rather all the interesting Smithsonian TV that it carries. They are really enjoying watching Smithsonian TV. They made no mention of JW.org to me. But, then again, I tell them flat out that it's not the "Truth", but rather, "The Lie" and I call it a "cult" straight to their face. And, they still call me!
I told them that I get a ton of science and history documentaries on Netflix and Amazon, that I enjoy. Not buying Roku.

Mental imbalance . . . the WTS says the wine & crackers partakers are cracker crazy! Well, in the KH, I thought the partakers I knew were a few short of a full deck . . . . . I didn't need the WTS to put it in print. But, thank you to the writing department for verifying my observance. And, after seeing the GB speak of late, I assume that even the partakers at the top are also a few short of a full deck. -

Thanks. That's what I thought.
My spouse and I are also going to really try to lose the mother. We never go over to her house, but she shows up at our doorstep "to say, "Hi." Ends up she comes in then asks to go out back for a smoke, and it's expected we come out with her. She then talks and is one of those "hard to get rid of" people. Unfortunately, our living room is right by the front door, so it's extra hard to 'not be at home."

The situation: A neighbor's child and mine have played together for 8 years. Her mother is a single parent, and a probable narcissist. Loves designer clothes, Bentleys, money, will not date a regular Joe or even a rich man who doesn't drive the right car, wear the right clothes, etc. Every holiday, she goes to the nearest big city to party with her very rich friends. They drive the right car, live in the right subdivision. Her very rich friends like to party, and she brings the 13 year old girl with her. Now, the 13 year old girl thinks it's fun to go in her godparent's very nice car, being driven faster than twice the legal limit, be offered alcohol at the nicest private clubs, and see her mom & godparents get wasted. She says, "It's fun!" The girl was with me yesterday, bragging about the "high life." My kid is not impressed and told the girl it was being stupid. Last year, I told the single parent that she shouldn't party in front of her daughter, and they needed to be wearing their seatbelt (they don't) when driving with the rich godparents because expensive cars crash too. Last year, the parent rented a limo. I didn't go, but the single mom proceeded to get drunk.
I can see this girl neighbor becoming a heavy drinker/partier. Thankfully, my kid is wanting to play with other kids. I am going to steer my daughter away from this family. I am fed up. Do I say anything to the single mom, or is it just all wasted words?

Surprise ! Surprise ! 2015 Arrives and NO Armageddon or World's " End " - Go Figure
by flipper ini guess 99.9 % of ex-jw's here could have predicted as much .
armageddon didn't happen in 1914. it didn't happen in 1925. it didn't happen in 1975. and it did not happen in 2014. since the wt society first predicted a world's end when their organization started in 1879 - 126 years have passed which according to any dictionary in any human language 126 years comprises of 4 separate generations each totaling 30 years each.
plus 6 years into a 5th generation.
