  God as editor/Jesus directing FDS

  last night, the opening of the mailbox revealed the may 15,2001 watchtower.

  my initial instinct was to drop it in the garbage on the way to the house, but i would have had to walk around the house to do it and my hands were full.

  i don't normally read them,but of late with all the "choice morsels" from the past coming out , i just wanted to flip through and see where they are heading now..........and see if any gems of gold existed inside.

  Now the LIGHT shines brightly. All this time I thought the
  New Testament was important but It was edited by only
  JESUS the son. Now I've realized my misstep, after all
  the gospel of the watchtower is edited by GOD[FATHER]
  not JESUS who is just A god just the son. Guess I need
  to backtract at the next crossroad. Heres a favorite line
  for you. "I'm thinking and wondering walkin' down the road
  I once loved an organization a cult I'm told. I gave it my
  heart but it want my soul. But don't think twice its alright.
  It just kinda wasted all of our precious time" Hey and
  Eric is wailing in the background[I could probably re-do
  the whole song] Peace Love and Happiness to all.

  WHY DO WE HAVE TO GET INVOLVED??

  why do we have top get involved in the fight between god and satan?.

  why can't we just opt out like we do in the fights between the nations?.

  i never chose to be on satans side or on jehovahs side although if i had to chose i would chose gods side.. even though they seems to be the same amount of killing innocents on both sides.. it seems like we are pawns, disposible.. im sorry guys but i have always wondered this, have you???.

  mat 24:14 and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

  col 1:23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof i paul am made a minister; .

  How about this from Paul
  Colossians 2:16 "Therefore let no one JUDGE YOU in
  food or drink, or regarding a FESTIVAL or a new moon or sabbaths". Any one care to guess why I was put out of the
  only true religion the first time? Seems like this scripture
  is not in there condensed 6% of the Bible. By the way I' m
  out for the second [and final] time this time[ walked away
  actually ran] so I can honestly say "Free at last, Free at last
  thank God Almighty I'm free at last".

  i printed these questions from a website long ago, and loved them to death cuz they freed me from that god-forsaken religion.

  i challenge any witness to answer all of them in their entirety, since the true religion stands against all falsehood.

  please note that these are from scriptures in the new world translation, used by jehovah's witnesses.

  1-I Jesus and Jehovah is the same being they are one
  in the same[the son] the FATHER is different altogether
  2-144,000 are all real jews gathered during yes during
  the great tribulation.
  3-The great men of old are coming back to live in
  Rutherfords mansion in CALI. Oh i'm sorry that was
  old dim light. Really they are already in heaven. PAUL
  says a heavenly country awaited them and a new city
  4-I love this one does it really matter? What matters is
  that HE died for us. You know if the real factual name
  of the Hebrew God is Yahweh but Jehovah is what the
  world goes by[ even if the name comes from the catholics]
  and the organization excepts that why can't they except
  the cross really whats the difference
  5-The better question to be asked here is what is the
  difference in the reward between the two evil doers?
  Reality is the one who believed in Jesus is now with
  him. The other is waiting for a resurrection to judgement.
  But the gospel according to the wbts have the two with
  the same reward they will both be resurrected to earth
  to prove themselves so why the passage?

  7-It does,what of Moses and Elijah appearing to our
  3 brothers. Also this can help with the Rich man and
  Lazarus the two witness of REV. this can also help
  you more with question #2

  WOW, people this gets pretty heated. go back to the set up
  question for a momment. Oh before that somebody said
  Satan was made in GODS image can that person show
  me where they get that from. Man was made in GODS
  image not angels unless you know something I don't.
  Also we are always saying Satan was question GODS
  right to rule, was he? Or was he mad that God but man
  in charge of everything on earth GEN:1:25-30. He was just
  going to show GOD that the LORDS chioce of man over
  himself[SATAN] was the wrong chioce. Man was going to
  rule himself by that passage, wasn't he. After all man was
  in GODS image. For the sweet person whos all out of sorts
  about a cruel world, relax there is a lot of good in the world
  to. That baby you saw is now in a spiritual setting at peace
  in the arms of the Lord. I felt like you do for a long time as
  your friend quotes beatle songs just "Let it Be" HE will take
  care of all the suffering. My favorite passage in the BIBLE
  is good ol' Peter asking well what about him[JOHN] my Lord.
  The simplest of quotes follow; Don't worry about him, you
  Peter just "FOLLOW ME" . To me one of the greatest lines the Lord ever said. I say it to myself daily Mark don't worry about
  that just follow me.

  the NEW Preaching work

  for those whose were interested in the preaching work being more informative to the people at the door,.

  consider this........ you did not sign anything when you "became a jw" and if you have left , drifted or even been d/fd you most likely did not officailly declare your statment to not be a jw.. so then by the power vested in freedom of religion......you still are...which means of course you are protected under the same.

  Great point did all fence sitters and others who are still
  inside get HIS point. The door to door ministry is a waste
  of your time it does not produce any good fruit. The only
  thing being accompolished is the peddelling of a few
  magazines times 2.5 billion hours and thus 20million
  magazines a week. I wish I could put out a magazine
  that I could have people buy up front and then try to peddle
  to get there money back[oh I forgot i get that money to]
  Maybe I would have to learn how to spell or use better
  grammer. On second thought I really wouldn't the FAITHFUL
  will buy anyyhing coming out of the tower.

  i saw a recent post of someone leaving the board so they can move on.

  it's been years for me and i actually have never come to a board like this until recently.

  i'm just curious, how is everybody doing in that regard?

  you all the time, no matter what. As for lost time GOD gave
  you today and thats all you have spend it as wisely as possible.

  lost with your family is nothing compared to Eternity, and thats what JESUS has promised all of those who call on his name. Have a wonderful day, call everybody in your family up and tell them you love them. I did that one day it sort of left one of
  sisters speechless beause they all know it but who really

  I am laughing. Since my hair is longer than ever and I grew
  my beard back[the look of the LORD] and of course you
  know my thoughts on ties. It would seem like fun to show
  up at the door with shorts on[after all it is AZ] a tee
  shirt and my HOLY SPIRIT charm on with only and I
  mean only a BIBLE in hand. What would they think?
  I could even tell my dear mother that I do go from
  house to house you know how happy she would be
