McViegh gets the needle
Hansen gets a deal
Garza gets the needle
Sammy (the bull) gets a deal
Gambino still breathes and feels(I was going to say
wheel and deal but all of us Americans know that it is
impossible for him to do that from the countries most secure federal prison)
TRUTH, JUSTICE and the AMERICAN way.
Just going through those names alone will show all
you pukin' death penalty advocates that it is not what
you do that gets you the needle. It's the lack of what you
have to give the government back that makes them take
your breath away.

McVeigh vs Death Penalty
by Amazing ini am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.
i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.
and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

Princess--Great team--A memory of the great one in
right field. A ball hit into the right field corner in shea.
Mets had a runner on first Clement racing into corner
to dig it out. No way he's getting the man at the plate.
With his back to the plate he wields and throws a one
hop strike to the plate. HE'S OUT. Greatest throw I ever
saw in my life. Murphy and Kiner where speechless. On Ryan my sweet he sucked big time in 69. I was 12
it was trully a summer I'll never forget. Mets down by
9.5 games in 3rd week of August . Behind an allstar
team in Chicago, and they won by 9 . Then beat Aaron
and highly favored Braves in first year of playoffs. On
to vaunted Birds given no chance. Seaver beaten in
first game--Mets left for dead---but you gotta believe
Mets go on to win 4 in row. -

Hi Larc,
Down in Baltimore in the early 70's the Birds pulled
off three 20game winners twice. I believe the second
year they just missed having 4. Don't recall all the
pitchers but some where--Palmer for sure--then
McNalley , Cuellar, Torres, I believe there was one more
in the mix can't recollect the name though. As for pitchers
though "Spahn and Sain" must have been great because
Milwaukee would throw those two and "pray for rain"
Ah-grass fields-double headers-and two hour rain delays
the good ol' days. -

Born and raised in Jersey--now getting my brains fried

it sure isn't the U.S. I do believe this state is run by aliens. -

Thought this might be fun for some.
Being a long time Met fan my team will be donimated
by the NL. One other thing if anyone else posts the
players must be retired.
1b--Lou Gierigh was there ever another first baseman
2b-Jackie Robinson all things considered Jackie just
might be the best player of all time.
SS-Ernie Banks-Mr. Cub-hey lets play two
3b-Mike Schmidt- Philly fans are the worst fans I have
ever seen they had no idea what they were witnessing.
Now the trouble begins-i'm picking the outfield by actual
postion so no Mantle, Mays, and Snyder can exist.
LF-Pete Rose--I never liked Rose but most hits and he
was a winner
CF-Willie Mays--He was simply the best player I ever saw
if Jackie wasn't the best ever Willie was
RF-Roberto Clemente-He played the came with such joy
and grace, remember in those NL all star outfields of the
sixties Aaron got moved to left not Clemente(he died much
too young)
C-Johnny Bench-Didn't like Bench either but not going
to pick a Yankee and Campanella was in a wheel chair.
LHP-Sandy Koufax the dandy little left hander was trully
un-hittable
RHP-Bob Gibson the horse give him the ball and get the
hell out of the way. (can you believe I didn't pick Seaver I can't)
Yeah I know no Ruth, Williams, Yankee Clipper, or Mantle
but 3 are Yankees and I liked Yaz more than Williams so
there you go. -

Go Ahead And Jump!
by Seven init is the most basic thing about us; we share it with all living beings.
at each moment, millions of events take place inside our bodies and inside our minds that are designed to help us stay alive.
until the present, at least, the forces that are life-preserving have been stronger than the forces that are life-destroying.

Princess--Thank you for the words by David Conroy.
Actually I'm one of those people who fight it on mostly
a daily basis. One time when it seemed there was no
use a friend who couldn't believe how I was crumbling
right in front of her eyes(I can usally put on such a good
front even the pro's can't tell) told me all you HAVE to do
Mark is breath. How simple and true. Yet for people who
have been to the ledge and even jumped at those times
the simple act of breathing is a major-major chore, hell
you have to expand your lungs and that takes energy and
effort you just don't have. So from a guy who really has
a great many feelings for you heres a HUGE and VERY
VERY LONG HUG. It seems that when I get to the end
all I really need is to be held---so considered yourself
still being held my dear with EVA singing "It's a Wonderful
World" very softly in the background.
Love always Mark -

Seeker--I believe the mom is human at the end, I could
be wrong and I don't want to go into my reasons here for the sake of those who are yet to see it. I plan to see it again
on the 4th, maybe we can discuss it next weekend. -

Nothingman--you might be right but when most parents
give birth to a child they heep much love and affection on
it as well as physically providing for it. In turn same parents
yearn for the love of the child. Thus parents will do anything
to get child to love then, Thus the birth of Christ. As for us
the children of god don't we all yearn for our creators
bossom and to be told he always has and will love us.BTW I posted on friday to go to see this down in the
Art and Music section--Movie thread--It's a must see.
Also if you go check out the length of the resurrection.
Happy movie going all. -

A.I.---You must go to see this. It's long but your sitting
there not wanting it to end. Not really a children's movie.
I did take my ten year old he said he liked it and added
"I held back the tears dad". I don't know why he does
that, for his dad always cries. As you sit there embrace the SILENCE of all in the theater and enjoy and fall in love with the best child actor since Jodie Foster.
There are some great lines and the ending will be liked
by EX-JW's. Well go see it and let me know what you think.
Two Thumbs up from----Mark
