hello sweetscholar, .
as promised, here is the thread where we can discuss biblical inspiration.
in your post to me on the other thread, you made three main points: .
There is hypocracy everywhere you go but I will remain a witness. Every witness wont go to paradise which means there are pagans, blasphemers, fornicators, heathens and others in disguise among us that we wont know of until armageddon.
That doesn't mean I should avoid the Kingdom Hall.
It means I should continue to make sure if things as I have.
Im still in awe about finding both parish priests on the silentlambs website!

Oh my goodness!
Father Esteban was right under Father Ruben in another child abuse case and they settled both.
But tell a parish member that this happened and they will tell you its all a lie.
They will also reassure you that the carmelite brothers have taken a vow of poverty
I went to that school and I know many people who still attend mass at the church.

And the Pagans at St. Simon Stock (Catholic) Church would act differently then the witnesses?
Ha. That place is gossip and fornication central (starting with child molester Father Ruben who is wanted by the police).
And the Pentecostals with their jumping into the spirit please let me run the demond out of you ways......
How about the Baptist hat competition down the street where the sisters gather by the dosens an hour early to get the dirt on Sister Geraldine and her lovelife, and rag on the sister who wore those same gold shoes two weeks ago. Dont forget those who arrive late and sit at the very front so that the congregation can count the ostrich feathers on their mae west inspired hats. (Actually I sometimes wish witnesses would wear fabulous hats for Jehovah on Sunday too)
I have visited many different churches and I'm not pleased with the trinity, saints or the blindness of congregation members.
I have found my way back to the truth Thank Jehovah!

I am not gender challenged. I just happen to be an extremely beautiful boy with big magic eyes and a smile to go with them.

I was an apostate, which is why I am changing my wicked worldly ways. I have been away from the congregation since I was a teenager. After leaving I would openly speak out against the truth as many of you do now and I beg Jehovah God for his mercy and forgiveness because I was wrong and I am sorry to have spoken blasphemy. It is now that I am trying to find my way back to the light.
Over the years, my bad associations DID spoil useful habits. I am preparing myself to say my goodbyes to many people and things of the world that I always loved. It is not easy but I am ready and growing stronger. The teachings were ignored and no matter how many material possesions have come into my hands or how much success I have had, there was emptiness without Jehovah in my life. I can't go back and change things. I am far from perfect. I have sinned (and I mean SINNED) but that doesnt mean its too late to repent and be forgiven. He is a merciful God who has blessed me with so many gifts. And even if I didn't make it to paradise at least I would be serving our lord Jehovah God and not Satan.
I plan on rejoining the Creston Congregation in NYC that I left long ago. There are still some hypocrates in the congregation but that is just the state of our imperfect world and they are found in all congregations and all religious denominations. Some congregation members think of me as a worldly, liberal, cigarette smoking, vain, openly gay former witness and I am still in recovery. I'm sure that I will be shunned by some but I am going to put one foot in front of the other and march right into that kingdom Hall (hopefully with my mother who has stopped attending meetings). Naturally there will be gossip and whispering, but talk is cheap and I've dealt with bigger monsters before.

God is the reason we have a Bible. Keep the faith.

I just threw away all six boxes full of christmas decorations that I bought over the past few years and another box of inherited sixties pastel colored ornaments with no regrets. I would decorate the hallways and lobby of my building with Christmas decorations every year and it was beautiful, but so were the magnificent hanging gardens of Babylon which were destroyed by God long ago.
As I find my way back to the truth as an adult (having left the kingdom hall for around 10 years), I have accepted the fact that the origins of Christmas are pagan. It was a 4th century pope in Rome who decided to turn the pagan winter solstice celebration into the birthday of christ. Even other christians outside of the Witness circle who celebrate seem to focus more on the consumerism rather than the so called true meaning of Christmas. On a poll taken in the US only about 1/3 of people still thought that Jesus was an important part of the Christmas holiday. That is sad but then again what does one expect from a pagan society celebrating a pagan holiday.
I have however thought of decorating this year with winter themed decorations such as snowflakes, snowmen, sleigh's and perhaps garland. I have always enjoyed decorating and all of my neighbors have been so disappointed that I havent decorated this year. But I have explained to them that I do not celebrate holidays with pagan origins anymore. I even found a neighbor who was disfellowshiped after having a child out of wedlock. She might be returning to the truth with me.
