The secret of how Christianity spread across the world
by Terry inwhat i am going to say may sound nasty and mean-spirited.
i assure you it is not intended in that tone.. men are power seekers and control freaks.
without using women as drones to do the grunt work of religion.

Sounds like a misogynistic rant.
I think it's more a case of men seeking power over others than anything else. I would see the woman's part through history as the same as slaves. The hope of a "heaven" or "paradise", where they are no longer in subjection.

As for Reagan, I guess you would have to know a little of his history to understand Villas comment. One day the horror that was Reagan will be clear.
The font has something to do with quoting. I've been having trouble with it for some time.

Well, having my children on a fault line makes me worry about quakes, but over the last year or so we've had so many, it's hard not to think about it happening here.

But... I LOVE Cali, soooooo... And, given our infrequent "big ones"... versus the plethora of hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves, cold snaps, and other "natural disasters" that wreak havoc around the rest of the country, I'll take my chances with earthquakes. My house was built in 1932 and is still standing, so I think we'll be okay.
I know what you mean Shelby. I love Cali too, but my kids live and work not far from you I think, and that is what scares the heck out of me. I had a hard time sleeping last night actually. Sigh.....

There was one in San Jose about 3 years ago, the one I spoke of previously. The only thing that was out of place in my house, was a couple of DVDs came off the shelf. Rosemary's Baby front and center face up in the hall. Hehehe

Yea Z! I was just sitting down to watch the series and man it started. I grabbed one baby, and my husband grabbed the other. The thing that always freaked me out, was that we had time to go from one doorway to another away from the big window. So scary.
We dragged a table over to the door way and left it there for a few days.
