I was originally in Clearwater cong from 1979 and then moved to Largo West and Largo South.
Naturally I am looking for old friends who were shaken out of any of those congregations.
I moved up to Pasco in 1989 or so and got out of the org in about 1991.
Would you have been one of the people I may have known and now will celebrate that we are both out? Wouldn't that be grand?

I haven't slept a good nights sleep for three nights in anticipation of what this news would be. I am thrilled to see that it is the blood issue. I am a surviving widow of a faithful to the end brother who was lied to about this blood issue! I am sure both my children and our attorney will be happy to look into this information for me.
That 'look after widow's and orphan's" is also a lie...they just turned their backs.
Hey WBTS, I bet there are THOUSANDS of surviving parents, children, spouses, uncles, aunts, siblings...who will be more than happy to talk to just about anyone...including those still on the inside and our lawyers. Class action would be a wonderful way to go and I am sure huge lawyer firms would jump at the chance to become famous and rich suing a corporation of this size...don't they work on commission? If they get a piece of the pie, wouldn't they want a large settlement too?
And whoever said $100,000? That is what you get for a lost toe in a car accident! We are talking about lives....loss of parents, children, brothers and sisters. I think WBTS needs to sell more magazines to come up with the chuck they will need to!

Two nights of no sleep and just had to get caught up on reading what was up.
I am sure many people like myself who have been out for many years will be interested in how we can help the rest of our families escape the lies as well. It is sad to think I once believed it all! I was so convinced that it was the truth....and to find out I had been lied to all those years I was a faithful servant...well, it hurt, but I escaped to a new, good life! If ths really shakes some more people out to find out all the deception within, I, for one, will be here to help them heal.
It is a scary thing to leave that place because it is all you know...all you are allowed to know. How wonderful to really be part of a great big wonderful world. I am hoping that this Big News will help others find true peace and happiness too.
Now...to catch a few zzzzz's before work.

I can't believe I have to go to work now and not spend hours dreaming of what it can all be about.
Last night talked to my JW bro. in law while he was smoking and drinking beer and asked him what was going on at the KH...I heard some big news? He said he didn't hear of any big news, I just said that I must have been mistaken.
Perhaps that will perk up his ears! He is the only one left of my family in there....and he is defending it to the end....with cigarette in one hand and beer in the other.
God bless him!
Now I bet this day will drag on as I wait for five p.m. to come home and play catch up on the news.
Can't wait to see what I can do to pass on this big news all around Florida. Hope someone who knows what is going on is compiling lists for us to reach others.
I also have connections with many different languages, so may be of help in the future when the big news is out.
well here i go with my annual holiday stress thanks to my jw relatives............if you are wondering why i'm on this forum after not being a jw myself for so long, there's your explanation.. i realize they have their beliefs against the holidays but it is soooooooo inappropriate to subvert others' participation in holiday celebrations, isn't it?
(rhetorical question there) i mean, if i did it to them they'd claim i was persecuting them!

I just stumbled on this from another site advertising we check this site out..
In reading it all....I didn't realize they changed the 1914 thing! I guess it is good to be out of the loop so long that I have had time to recover from that place. When is the end supposed to come now...or is it the generation that saw 1914's offspring that will see Armageddon and we are waiting for the last child of the last known survivor who saw 1914? But that is another discussion!
I suppose when the crap they predict doesn't come true, they just change it to suit themselves and we followed like pigs with noserings!
Hopefully some more smart ones, disillusioned ones, hurt ones, disfellowshipped ones, dumb ones, blind ones....any one gets out of that place and finds freedom.
