~How has the blood issue affect you personally?

in view of barb's news, it leaves me wondering, how all of you have been affected by the society's policy on blood transfusions.

please tell us what your experiences have been.

i have my own story to tell.

Well. I knew one lady who had problems in her hips. It required with urgency an surgery. Finally she obtained that a Hospital of the state, took care of it but needed blood. All the elders tried to avoid that she put blood. But the interesting thing of this, is that the elders only visited her when they heard about this surgery, but had forgotten their presence since more than year ago. Anyway to refuse this operation, she aggravated and although she did not die must now walk with a chair with wheels.

im miker (well i guess you cant pronounce my last name haha), anyway, im sandro recabarren (a lot of rrrrrrr).

i was jw by 15 years, and i "worked" like pionner and ministerial servant, and sometimes in bethel, and i went to ministerial training shool too.

but since four years ago, i did discover that jerusalem dont fall at 607 bc.

Thanks to Everybody. Here in Chile we are so exited about the implications of the news about the "Touchable Condition of WT". I mean (The Big News) Of course they will to said that this is a persecuttion, and is an atack from devil, but...they are paranoics. I guess this fact, can be help to the public opinion, and I hope, some JW... that WT is a Big international Company, and no more than a human thing. By another hand. Yeah Loruhamah, I know this girl and her husband. When I was in Bethel in Ministerial Training School they was in Bethel too. She was so friendly and funny, and his husband appear like an Football player guy, so big to me hahaha. Well Im short haha. Some guys there (because in Chile the people is so formal), thought that the guy dont show a respect at lunch time, because He dont used a shirt and a tie. What ridiculous!!!!. Anyway, Im hoping they are in USA again. I feel sad about missionaries and all people that give an complete sacrifice to a lie. A big hug to everybody. miker.

This new is so important to everybody. If WT begin to have demands from individual persons, the perception of "Holy, intouchable, and protected Mother", will fall down. You know that Brooklyn is like The Vatican, the Holyland or Mecca to the WW (watchtower Witness), so this information, will be to show to the public opinion around the world, wich kind of sect is WT, included WW. Im so glad.

not sure why i've been going around to the jw forums like on myspace and such to see what they say...maybe i'm just stupid...who knows...but i was surprised at the vitriolic venom that many of the youth that still pay homage to da troof spew from their mouths.

i know i was raised jw but i would always pride myself on listening to what others said, even if i secretly didn't agree with it.

because it was a polite thing to do...and i had the truth!

Hi Im new since today here!!! (And Im trying to understand because Im a spanish speaker.) I guess is normal try to see what about our ex brother´s lifes in the sect. I mean, is hard to us understand why they dont open the eyes. But if we thinking about it, when we was WW (Watchtower´s Witnesses), we thought about "ex WW",like devils, or like viruses. The WT, really have a way to teach that convert normal people in a person with superior attitude. We was thinking that we are members of the Gods Club. And in fact, when we went outside the sect, we can see the others, with their bad and good things too. WT teach to think, that they are the cowboys and all the rest of makind are evils indians. Is natural find this reaction. For example in Spanish speaker enviroment is the same. Why?, because we came from a clones factory. Really is the same in all languages. But we have an advantage...we can help our ex brothers, if we can write our experiences, and the thing that to help us to open our eyes. In my case was the mistake about 607 before Christ (this is teh correct way to say the old tiem in English?) Anyway...Im so happy to find this place, really Im. miker

Im so happy about you. All my family is catholic, and I remember when I was WW (Watchtower witness). Everybody was happy, around our tree with light and I was in my room, like a fool. On this time I thought that, a real christian cant celebrate Christmas. But now...I feel diferent, is my time to stay with my dears, and a spetial moment to enjoy a good time with friends. The light and music, and the enviroment is sweet and spetial. You will enjoy since now. miker. Sorry if you can understand me...Im an Spanish speaker. A hugh to you

Wow dears!!! Is amazing that youre so friendly!!!! Thanks. Really I guess is important to us, dont hide our heads in the soil, our key to help ours ex brothers is talk about the things that are clear now about the control of the mind. Thank for the words!!!! I will be an regular writer. I need just a litle time to try to understand the order in this BIG site. But Im so happy. A big HUG to you!!!!!!
