right... so i've hung around on jwn for a while now, but i simply can't figure out where an ministerial servant stands in the hierarchy scheme of the wts.. there's the r&f or rank & file.. then there seems to be the microphone handlers, sound checkers, donation bin watchers, index card for territory managers, person who is in charge of the books, etc.. then there are elders.

Did you Exit the Witnesses Gradually - Or Exit Suddenly - Your Reasons ?

i thought it would be good to discuss it to understand what caused some of us to exit suddenly, or some to exit gradually .. myself , i had been in 44 years , had mentally had doubts for years before exiting - but injustices by the elders and my doubts about the " generation " doctrine led me to exit suddenly one night before a meeting.

the elders pissed me off , i went to my seat, picked my books up and walked out - never going back.

so what is your story and reasons ?

I started slowly when I stepped down as an elder very early in Jan. 1980. I stopped going to many meetings and gradually not attend at all.

By late June of that year I was df'd, and the rest is history. They (the elders) did me a big favor and it changed my life forever(for the better).

However I did lose my family to the borg at the time. I now have two sons and one daughter back. Three daughters still held hostage by the borg.

Life is much better now.

yes, i do!

i did it 20 years ago, but the elders still remember what i did, sometimes i wish they never knew about it.

i remember as a child, before i knew what a "loom" was, i thought it must have been a groin, and therefore the fruit of the loom was dangly bits.

after all, that's what fruit of the looms protects, right?

talk about a man who always gives it to you straight, and with a sense of humor, too.

never too gruff, but just gruff enough to ruffle some feathers and have a laugh with others as long as they don't take themselves too seriously.

the source of sage advice that's just too simple to be complete bullshit, he is actually more balanced than most.. he's the kind of guy you miss not knowing in real life.. .

wouldn't you love to comment on the watchtower.org site so that other visitors can see what you think about their doctrinal flip flops, false prophecies and dangerous medical practices?.

it's no surprise that watchtower.org doesn't allow comments.

they know that "apostates" would point out the embarrassing details about their religion and history.
