  Is There A Happy Balance To Deprogramming A Witness?

  it's not easy to help a jw see that they are misled.

  i see thatsometimes you can get them to really see a matter clearly and other times they feel like you're beating them up.

  i had a conversation with my mom yesterday and it's funny----sometimes she'll accept it all and other times she doesn't want to deal.

  Just found out my JW little sister is inactive - need advice!!!

  i've been wanting to share some recent events involving my family for a while.

  i'm interested in any input or advice any of you may have to offer.

  it's just been a very weird last couple of weeks.... through a chance set of circumstances i have begun communicating with my younger sister (she is 21).

  Jamelle I know how you feel. Just last friday I got a letter from my JW daughter after being shunned for 25 years. In writing back to her I had to be so careful that I did not give her that impression, as this would close the door completely, Good luck with your situation.

  well as most of you know, amanda and i separated early last month.

  it has been for the better, as amanda and i have had a troubled marriage from day one.

  i havent heard from her in a week, she is living with her mom and stepdad in maynardville tennessee, just northeast of knoxville.

  once we determined that the 'truth' was not, there was much more to do in getting deprogrammed.

  i have become aware that i have used a few mental games to 'unlock' from the watchtower mindmeld.

  ive been reading this forum for a long time, but this new situation has come up and now it looks like i need your help.

  i thought i dodged a bullet.

  my wife and i were both jws, and we both left it together.

  I must agree with Flying High. From my own personal experience divorce causes psychological problems that follow children through out their lifetime. It is possible to live together and each partner show unconditional love to the children, unless there are other circumstances such as unfaithfulness.
