Isaac, That is a good question, why don't you get Jesus out and ask Him for us? You may have to "work for that food" but I am confident if you stay at it, you will find the answer for yourself, then you can share it with us.

Millenial Reign and final battle
by IsaacHorwitz incould the following scenario be an answer to how all those accepting the mark of the beast are destroyed at armageddon, while thos ehwo refuse the mark were previously martyred?.
after the first resurrection, those who were martyred are reunited with their physical bodies.
so can't they be returned to earth and reproduce?

A concerted effort during a watchtower study?
by mkr32208 inwas thinking about this today!
what we need to come up with is something like crazies 586/7 list from watchtower sources showing the kings list.
then next time they have a prophecy watchtower study we could all go to different halls where no one would know us and have a prepared answer typed up with watchtowerese language something like;.

How do they get to define what a "apostate" is? Would it differ from my definition? Yours? Can they prove that accusation? Hell, ask everyone in the room what their individual definitions of "apostate" are. Are they not all "judges"? is there truly a difference between "apostate" and "student"? I guess that would depend on who who the teacher is. I don't see how with Jesus(the Bible) as the teacher one could prove someone as a "apostate". Their actions themselves give them away.
I would have to say, the only way to truly find out what a "apostate" is. Is to find out what a "apostate" is to Jesus. I am sure too that the apostles were labeled by the religous leaders of their time as "apostates". So I would say we "are in good company".

Christianity and Philosophy - Was it a good mix?
by PeLe, ThE Soccer King inhistory shows that philosophical thinking influenced theology and christendom doctrines development in many ways.
some people like 18th century historian edward gibbons see similarities in plato trinity and nicean creed.
others have seen for instance, in plato doctrine of ideas (that there is a perfect spiritual-like world where the ideal forms exists) or in soul immortality speculations a reference of some christians future hope to be in heaven and not in material world in earth.

Truth has another weapon as well, If you are doing "right", DOING right, it whether you want it to, or not, exposes the wrong, and those doing "wrong".

The Man of Lawlessness
by Desino inhave anyone thought who is matching best to this description of the man of lawlessness?
the slave class, is one i can think of since they made many additional rules, that not has a solid scripturally ground, about what is right or wrong for a christian.
did jesus told his disciples how to cut their hair or how they should practise sex within marriage?

Is Satan a philosopher?
by DavidChristopher inwhos truth would he be searching for?
seems kind of silly to search after your own "truth".
wouldn't the object be to have others searching for your "truth" is that a form of worship?

That does make sense. If he is a lie and the father of the lie than how can a lie exist? Thats really deep man.....You got my head spinning with that one......

First we would have to know what "lawlessness" is really. Is it bad?

Thanks! I have been seeing that for quite some time, and never thought to ask what it meant.

Simple Proof of WTS claims to be "Inspired" Prophet
by crazies in(deutrernomy 18:20-22)
however, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that i have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.
21 and in case you should say in your heart: how shall we know the word that jehovah has not spoken?

I guess that is where his nickname "slick willy" came from. Presidents have a nice little thing going too. When they appoint a "justice" that is the one in charge of keeping him in check, defining his actions. Kind of like a accused car thief getting to hire his own judge and prosecuter to decide his fate. Wasn't Bush pushing for a end to the two term rule?
Strikes me as odd too, why would you need to put guns on people to MAKE them accept "freedom"? Why would they fight it? I think he needs to go to San Quinten and visit Charles Manson to get a few pointers on convincing others to do your bidding. Hell, even a used car salesman could get him started in the right direction. I could sell a brand new car for $5 without a gun over them.
Here is a funny tidbit I seen on the news the other day..unidenified perp goes to payphone..calls 911...and reports 6 bombs in 6 courthouses. He shuts 6 courthouses down, and takes countless cops off the street with a phone call. I am impressed! He must not have had the money to pay a fine, or had something planned close by. Now everyone knows how to do it, even better, there is nothing they can do about it. I went to court the other day and asked them about that. They got real mad, and started showing me all the security measures in our local courthouse! Good thing I am not a terrorist. Oh, and they said they are going to burn that guy if they catch him or her. And my girl thinks "I" am crazy.

How could it lead to eternal happiness, when the world around them is so messed up, and their children have nothing to look forward to execpt a hard road and watching a bunch of people die around them? People they love at that!
