What are some personal truths you now believe in after leaving the WT?

these are things i hold as personally true for me:.

1) there is no religion today that has the only truth about god.

2) the bible contains truths for christians but other religions have books that contain truth for them.

Isn't truth undisputable answers to questions? Does the WT have any of these to offer? I don't think truth is subjective definitions different people choose to call "truth". But that is just my guess.

i have often wondered..... they say jehovah is the begining and the end, and that he can read every heart.

if so, did he not know eve would eat the fruit and then adam would follow?

did he not know satan would try to pull his weight?

Why didn't they ask God why they were not allowed to eat from the tree..and have some knowledge of good and bad?

Are they really brainwashed?

i was just thinking today of all the stories we have of field service avoidance.

between the donut shops, potty breaks, fake back calls/rvs etc., almost everyone her knows that almost every jw in the western world does anything they can to pad out their fs time, whether they outright lie, stretch the truth(so to speak) or practice major avoidance of it.. the wt claims that this kingdom work is the way we prove who we are.

the wt says that this is the way that the message of jehovah's kingdom is going to be spread.

perhaps He had a very good reason...we just haven't figured it out yet? Or He has not decided it was time to let us in on His secrets yet?

i've known two professional magicians in my lifetime.. one was a friend and the other was a very close friend.. both would discuss magic with me at different times.

each was devoted to protecting the secrecy necessary to maintain the brotherhood of illusion.. however, i am a curious person.

i am challenged by the unknown.

what decisions must the apprentice make?

What could be the consequnces of such an act?

Does he end up looking like a traitor and destroyer of all the "fun"?

seems to me the only time jesus got really miffed was in the temple.

Can a sheep put on a suit and rise up and lead other sheep effectivily?

can a sheep decide it is ready to put on a suit and tie...and step up authorized to lead the other sheep in the flock?

how is that going to turn out in the long term?.

when the shepherd returns...will he then follow the opinions and rules of the sheep in the suit and tie?.

can someone tell me how a goat tastes? I am always looking ahead and may have to try eating some in the future.
