hi everyone, i have a question about tattoos.
i was told by a jw that getting a tattoo was going against jehovah, and that he forbid them is that true?
is it wrong?
Rebel, that is really sickening. I cannot believe that people could be so cold, and judgemental. If they are right, then I am truly a unrepentant sinner because I like my tattoos, and would like another. does that mean I don't love Jehovah? Or I don't love the Jehovah they have made for themselves, and serve?
This is my question of the day...
If Jehovah brings a new plan to the table, does that make him a different God....Or the same God with a new plan?
Any thoughts on this?????

I have 2. A evil clown ripping out of my right upper arm, and a spider web on my right akle with the words "dirty white boy" in it. (I was a big forigner fan in the day) I plan on getting another someday, unless I find it is wrong to do so, or someone proves it to me.

over the weekend, these thoughts occurred to me: .
as a jw, we were always told to stay away from alternative (to the wtbs pubs) reading materials.
the reasoning was that we could (would) be influenced by this reading material into believing what we read.
Amazing to me....How you can have all this "propaganda", misinformation, etc. Yet our leaders cannot convince everyone to follow their rules. What is up with that?
I don't think Jehovah would have to rely on threats or force to convince us He is looking out for our best interests. All he has to do is tell us the truth. Why would you need to "make" someone not touch a hot stove? I just don't get it..
I have many hot rod mustangs, cbr 600, tools ect. I earned them all. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting nice things, the problem is when you don't want to work for them, or take atvantage of other \s to attain them. I also enjoy sharing my stuff with my friends, so that they can enjoy them too.
this coming from a person raised "in the truth".. recently i shared a scripture with my sister - she is ill and will have to have some pretty serious surgery.
i shared isa 53:4,5 with her.

Is it possible, Jesus could have been our Father, but showing us how to be His "sons"? What better way to SHOW us how to do it? I mean when it's all said and done, we should all be His "sons" right? If we are all His "sons", then why should one child be over the other? Jesus, right now to me is the Word, or the Bible, or the manual to these cars we drive everyday that are all screwed up, or the Word of our Father. That is who I obey, question, and follow.

That sounds cool Darth, If me and you played, I guess the one who could hold their liquoer the best would win. I bought my grandfather a marble chess set in Cozemel a few years ago. I really like the game too, but I have been beat quite a bit. I think about 3-4 moves ahead I think. I also like the "trap" too, just to get you to move where I want I will sacrifice a piece, and I love my knights too.
