  Hi Alan.

  I have one of the later letters to all Circuit and District Overseers dated 2002 from the Service Department.

  In it there is a small explanation of the types of detail that they want about molesters especially a curious reference to the "kind of spiritual record they have built up for themselves"

  Reform or Retire?

  do we change our attitude when we get out?

  caspian indicated (when he was an active elder over a year ago) how he was working with other like minded elders from within to achieve reform - but like many of us he is now "out" or fading - many others of us thought that change for good could be achieved - have we all moved from that position if we are out - have we given up trying - have we stopped contact with those we though agreed with us - is it easier to just move on?

  caspian - do you think that the others you were involved with are still trying to make changes - did you achieve much when you were actively trying to promote decent standards ?

  Core you raise a good question, at the time I was full of zeal to make internal changes, my life has changed so much that in the past few months I have lost many things dear to me that has changed my perspective on the "troof" and my life with in it.

  from a personal point of view I have lost all heart and fight to carry on. There are still ones out there who are and can make changes.

  That is all I am willing to say at the moment.

  My own life and that of my dear Sister now take major precedents in my day to day thinking.

  Help! I'm getting ripped off

  yesterday i received a bill in the mail from national car rental for $2,000.

  i didn't get stressed out when i opened my mail last night because i assumed it was an error regarding payment for the rental and i had my ccard bill to show the payment going through.

  when i called this morning i learned they are trying to say we returned the car with damage.

  i took another exam this morning and passed it (despite being destracted from my one night of revision by a programme on 'centrefolds' last night .

  070-229: designing and implementing databases with microsoft sql server 2000 enterprise edition.

  070-315: developing and implementing web applications with microsoft visual c# .net and microsoft visual studio .net.

  When I was about five, we got to the book study group earlier than normal, and one of the older sisters was having her extreme facial hair shaved by another sister.

  When she was finished, this old sister insisted on giving me a big smacker on the chops, EEEuuuuwwww. she was still all stubbly

  Ever since then I have had nightmares about bearded people wanting to kiss me .

  Apart from that I have nothing against beards as long as they don't get to close.

  in view of the fact that there are mostly ex-witnesses on this forum, the question is," are jw's truly welcomed here?".

  it seems to me that if a poster supports the witnesses in any way, that they will know about it.

  I'm sick of being mistaken for a prostitute!

  this has happened far too many times now for it to just be happenstance.

  over the last year or so i've had at least 10 guys try to "pick me up" while i am out walking.

  if it only happened at night it would be one thing but, it's happened early in the morning as well.

  Borg monitoring of this board

  are the borg still monitoring this board (and others)?

  if so they seem to be allowing a large amount of time before taking any retributive action.

  has anyone heard of any follow thru from the borg from being identified here recently?

  I don't know about any of the other branches, but the UK have had someone monitoring the internet for a while now, he goes by the nickname Bod, and I wont reveal his real name, although that was 18 months ago or so.

  It was Bod who got Witness Aid UK closed down by freeserve, logged the ks 91 sites and tried to get them closed down.

  He works off tips from loyal brothers plus his own work, logs the info and passes it on to the relevant parties.

  He knows me and I know him.
