by unique1 inleftbelow is a very private person so i will not spill all the details here, but he has experienced a great loss.

Thank you all so much I am not big on guys crying but you kind word have brought tears to my eyes I have been feelling alone and today I am compltely lost and crushed but your words have given me some comfort and for that I am forever grateful I can't say this enough THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and to Unique1 you are truly Unique this helped alot you are a true friend. For those of you waiting to tell your spouses about your "doubts"
by Nosferatu inthis post is for those who are wanting to fade, going through their "doubts" and wanting to tell their significant others about where they stand on the jw issue.. there is no doubt that the finest time in any male-female relationship is the dating stage.
the both of you are full of infatuation for each other, and the excitement of just being together puts you in a pleasant mood.. now, years later, you have settled down, have children, and have fallen into many routines.
it almost seems as if there's no time for the two of you to spend time with each other.. what i'm going to suggest is, before you tell your s/o how you're feeling about the "truth", try re-establishing those feelings that you once had before you take that major step.

Say hello to the new guy
by osmosis ini found this web site while researching jws (my immediate family on my dad's side is jw, except for my dad, who was subjected to the programming from birth, and who seems to be caught in some strange world between the jw world and the real one).. for the most part, these are decent, kind, loving people.
the only problem is that they are jws!.
i myself am atheist, so in theory i should them to be atheist also, but i'd gladly settle for steering them into a different form of christianity.. anything but jw.

by minimus ini knew a number of elder's wives that were nuts.
one in particular used to talk to herself regularly.

One guy in our hall claimed (and he believed this) he had converted so many to the "Truth" in Atlanta the clergy were looking for him he claimed the number was over 20,000 he was also a partaker at memorial and would make wild claims about elders were out to get him (OK maybe that part was belivable)

Is stepping down from being an elder a big deal?
by Clam inrecently ive discovered that my brother in law has stood down from his position as an elder.
ive of course been intrigued but theres little chance of him discussing it with me.
however the other day my non jw mother (his mother-in-law) asked him why hes resigned from eldership.

Covering our computer tracks
by leftbelow ini am thinking that with all of the people (like myself) who are undercover so to speak may be some suggestions about how to keep our id safe from persons at home who may stumble accross the sites (like this one) which would upset our family's.
i only surf jwd at work and erase all cookies and history everyday.
i also on the rare occasion that i do surf at home erase all of the logs on my router.
