  i've tried to get over this, i honestly have.

  since i stopped my kids going to meetings, things have gotten a little better.. but knowing the content of the convention programme that she was subjected to on friday, it amazes me and greatly annoys me that she goes back for more, today.

  for her to sit there watching those crazy, fear mongering bunker videos.

  The good thing is that you can ask her about any of the crazy videos they are showing as they are mainly all available online. Just choose one that will hit home when explained by someone not indoctrinated any more.

  Contempt of court, case in San Diego county really disgusts me!

  this case has to be talked about by ever awake jw every apostate everyone.

  this case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake!

  this case shows thier evil plain and simple.

  im sorry if this has been addressed, i have not seen any topics on this yet.. the wt for today seems to state, quiet plainly, that preaching work is done.

  para 14,15 the question asks:.

  "what proves that jehovahs witnesses have fulfilled jesus' prophecy with regard to the scope of the work?".

  Study article: "Go, and Make Disciples.." is a hot mess

  so i hooked into meeting via phone this week to listen in and was shocked at the absurdities mentioned in the study article (2016 may watchtower: "go,..and make disciples of people of all the nations").

  the answer is obvious—only jehovah’s witnesses.

  the answer the missionary priest gave in no way proves that jws are the only ones "preaching the good news".

  According to Ray Franz when the society were sending missionaries out, they were told to go to the 'Christians' first before they went to any people of other religions.

  In other words they already knew about Jesus and the bible, long before the Watchtower missionaries got there.

  How baptism rate at conventions relates to yearbook growth rate (Discussion)

  we had a number of posters report on the baptism rate at conventions which is usually less than 1% and rates lower than 0.5% is by no means uncommon.

  despite this there is still a positive growth rate in the us (0.71% according to the yearbook) and i wonder how these numbers relate.

  i wonder if anyone can help me out if these assumptions are true:.

  Baptisms, peak publishers and average publishers are all in the Yearbook. The ratio of attendees to baptism candidates at the regional assembly can only give us a rough idea what the years baptisms will be. And these days it is normally well below 1% at the regional assemblies.

  To UK members that go to meetings - did Brexit cause a spike in meeting attendance last weekend?

  i went to the mid week meeting and looked at the attendance figures on the noticeboard for the three congregations that share the local kingdom hall.

  i wrote down the three previous sundays attendances and this sunday (after the referendum) too.

  cong c. (95 pubs) 74/82/73/90.
