their music, their videos, their public speaking... all are a big yawn.
there is no life to the witness religion!.
I know when I was appointed a mini servant, it certainly helped my self confidence. Also taught me how to teach people and how to stand up in front of 100 or so people and give a talk. So those things for me were quite a buzz.
Of course you can learn those skills from other organisations as well.
our dog needed some serius surgery recently & my wife (still in) was very concerned that if he needed a blood transfusion she thought this would constitute a misuse of blood.
i was stunned as never heard of this.. is this a thing?

why did they emphasize the counsel and not the fact that those who were watching movie should have followed christ counsel at mathew 5 go to your brother instead they ratted on the guy to an elder and let him do dirty work.wow just totally ignore jesus words..
They generally completely ignore what Jesus said and just go straight to the elders. They have been doing that for decades
in perth western australia the watchtower have sold a kingom hall to hindus for $2 million aust dollars and they have a second one up for sale in the same area embleton .
Do many people in Australia know about the ARC, and is it something that people are talking about generally?
i have watched tons of youtube videos of our exjdub friends approaching and talking to the jdub manikins at their carts as they give a great witness to the world by sipping their hot lattes, updating their social media, chit chatting to each other, and the most important thing of getting their time in, counting their hours.. when the jw's see someone approach with a camera they do several things, they will turn their backs on the person, or look at the person with a frown and act like the person isn't even there.
the witlesses refuse to answer simple, clear, and precise questions.
when i was an elder i loved to get into discussions and debates with trinitarians, priest, clergymen and those who were born again.
I really think the cart witnessing is just an attempt to keep the jdubs busy, while making it more of a social experience for them, where they can chat to each other and drink coffee etc, and not be distracted by knocking on doors. The members can put in their hours, which makes them feel good, and the org can brag about 2 billion plus hours a year in the work of spreading the kingdom message. What a joke.
i actually had a neighbor ask me that the other day (she knows i'm an "ex" jw) and i didn't really know the answer.
i know there's a bit of cart witnessing going on (small town) and a lot of driving around to return visits.. but are they actually doing territory, not-at-homes, all of that?
the neighbor said that eight years ago, when she bought her house, the jws were by "all the time".
I live in the UK and I see both door to door visits and cart witnessing. They have me as a do not call, not because I asked for that, but because they know i am an ex JW who has no interest whatsoever in returning back to the org. Whenever I have watched the cart witnessing I can truthfully say I have never seen anyone at all approach the carts or engage in conversation with them.

it’s chaos because it is not private property that can be contained; these are working boulevards with cars and people vying to get where they want to go.
Drearyweather, Freddo is right. No one is saying people in those Kingdom Halls will suddenly wake up, although it could certainly make one or two think a bit. But yes the videos are uploaded and thousands of people from around the world are watching and recognise that JWs are a cult where they simply cannot think for themselves.

as horrible as this may be i really want to see a few examples.
all my life i was taught that apostates just spread lies and falsehoods.. yet since i have left the organisation and looked deeply into apostate articles.
Most JW activists now ensure that they mainly use the societies own publications. They also make sure they show where the info came from. That way the jdubs cant say the ex jw was telling complete lies.
it's my first time on this site though i am no stranger in the ex-jw community.
i come to you now asking for your assistance in what to present to the dean of students at my university.. why am i meeting with dean of students, you may ask?
because today, while innocently finishing an assignment in the school library, i happened to look out the window and see the jws with their stupid little cart.
I would do exactly as others have done when confronting the Jdubs with their cars. Just choose two or three topics where you can show clearly where the JWs are wrong. Also film the discussion. They really hate that, and in most cases they will leave, and if they come back another day do the same again if you are free.
don’t know if it was part of the script.. at the memorial the remark about growing annointed numbers including this numbers from 2015 to 2017 was made (from 13.000 to 18.000+).. reason for the growing numbers could be:.
- feeling annointed because of former believe.
- psychical reasons.
Whenever anything goes wrong in the religion, they simply change what they originally said, even if it is the complete opposite.
