New BOE Letter
by jefferywhat inall boe have just got a letter telling them to encourage all parents to be more on guard with their children.
suggestions such as not letting your young children go to the toilet on their own, not working with older men on their own and not leaving children in the car on rv's and calls un attended.
the letter basically instructed the elders to remind all family heads that its their responsibility to protect their children whilst at and away from the hall etc.

Ironic as women molest too. So can older kids.
You are so right!! I did not realize this fact until I learned that my son had been molested by two teenage female members of my immedient family when my son was only 5 years old...when he was in his thirties he was in therapy and finally told me what had been done to him and by whom. It ruined his life! Children should be watched and protected from everyone to the extent possible by their parents, and that includes family members and disgusting as it is even from some of their own parents and siblings!

by Burger Time inok last night while sobering up from a long day of drinking i started thinking; could doctor/patient confidentiality protect one from being dissfellowshipped?
that is, could one tell a doctor he wants a b.t., but must keep it secret.
the doctor would have a right to keep the procedure from the family or any other interested parties.

I suppose that could be arranged between the patient and his/her doctor, however if any JW employee of the hospital had access to the person's medical files they would be sure to read it and report said JW patient to the elders. I know of a case where that exact thing happened to JW in my congregation a few years before I left.
