Found out there is a religion EXACTLY like JW'S!! And I mean EXACTLY!
by stillAwitness inso i was talking to a friend of mine today, who was raised a protestant but it is some fanatical protestant group that is exactly like jehovah's wittnesses.
her religion has basically the same teachings : the paradise, disfellowshipping, marrying "only in the lord" , no college, submissive women; the whole bit!
she was even raised around the same terms like us: holy spirit instead of ghost, the "older ones", worldy, bad association, elders,

Being a spy.
by vomit inwell in my company there is a jw that doesnt know that i am apostate.
she has given me rags in the past, asks me questions about creation.. .
i always dodge her questions and ask her some bad ones.

So actually what you want to do is - revenge? And how you will be better then them? You will give them more confirmation that "apostates" and "wordly people" are from Satan, and they will become more firm in their believs.
I think better is to show that you can be "good" and "loving" without being JW! Ofcourse if you want to plant seed of doubt in hearts of them! -

Most funny is to find out WHERE is 144000 showed. And WHY the seal is placed on their head. I don't remember exactly but in OT there is similar case... guess Ec 9 the seal is put on them BECAUSE they are on the Earth not in Heaven, to protect them from devastating 4 angels.

Any JW explanation. Just interesting how JW explains away these two places where it is very clear that contexts are similar, so they can be compared and so we see that fulfillement of OT prophecy applied for YHWH is shown to be fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

To be saved you have to have faith. But as just grown seed is in risk without the land you have to plant it to get fruits from it, so the same is danger for unbaptised believer. But what matters at the time of death if the seed is alive... so if you became believer (seed becomes alive) and you are hit by the car you get saved. And so if you are in the land (in baptism) but you do not have the life (faith) you still are dead seed! Baptism for christian life is like land for seed to grow and bare fruit. If you will thing about baptism in this categories you will understand each place in the bible about baptism. Land gives for seed the water and food. Baptism gives forgiviness of sins and gift of the Spirit. In the baptism you hear voice of God specially saying to you "your sins are forgiven for sake of Jesus Christ". It is God who baptises you, who pours the Spirit over you coz it is his promise. It is gift even if you don't understand what it is, it does not changes it's power and meaning. Baptism is not anything YOU are doing. It is what God does for you! WT changed it in the work of man as they don't believe in the work of God.

That is usual tactics of cults and sects to use symbolic, allegoric, hard-to-understand, apocaliptical books as BASE of their theology. Normal christianity places the books at the very bottom of the pyramid of understanding Bible. John himself testifies that whatever he has written in his Gospel John 20:31 is enough to come to faith and gain ethernal life. So actually, you can pull Gospel of John out of the Bible and never see other books and still get saved without need to know anything about Daniel or 144000 and all other stuff what WT pulls out of the books! But as I found out Gospel of John alon can refute 90% of their theology!

dutch - finally finished my research
by DannyBloem inwell, i decided to do a bit of reserch myself about the wts and the bible.. it is finally finished.

I guess if JW understands that the paper is AGAINST JW and it is not from WT, then you can have 1 page, and they still wont read it to the end!
