took me about 8-10 years to shake it, but yes I can relate.
But I'm so much better off now than I was before.
When I would feel like that; I'd consider that I would feel the same way regardless of the cult I was involved in.
It's not a truth vs. false prophecy thing. It's a 'this is all I've known' thing.
Take your time with life and make your own fond memories and the rest will fall into place.

Why do Watchtower Publications not have an ISBN number?
by truthseeker inopen any wt publication (other than tracts) and you will not find (to my knowledge) an isbn number.. you may see (c) all rights reserved and first printing in english.. does anyone know why they would not apply for isbn numbers?.

I imagine the reason is because they don't circulate their publications traditionally. They're generally not found in libraries or book stores, so what would be the sense? Since they peddle them themselves, there's really no need that I can see.

as card-carrying apostates we all need to be careful about our information.
even one mistake, whether intentional or not, gives dubs the chance to jump up and say, "see those apostates lied about that thing.

by Check_Your_Premises init appears that the work around for the quotes site will be a long term effort.
as the wt plays whack-a-mole with the new sites that pop up, we need to know where the new ones pop up.. so here is my attempt to bring some order to this process.
let's make this a running thread where we put all our links to the mirror sites.. the downside is that the wt will know where to go to find out where the new sites are they have to squash.. the upside is that it is alot easier to put a site up then it is for the wt to take them down!!!.

This idea of hosting the site outside of the U.S. and in un-friendly Watchtower territory sounds great on the surface.
But would that really stop them when (if) the site owner is actually residing in a WT friendly country?

most all bible scholars have no problem with this, what is of interest to me is a matter of controversy the translation of didymos used before his name in the greek manuscripts didymos literally translates into english as twin.
if you take the bible as the true gospel of gods hand then jesus had a twin brother.
