Did you mean the book, "Robert King Himself Has Become Jehovah" ??
Nope,, haven't bought it, never will.
every now and then i'll drop by e-watchman to see what's up.
the administrator/moderator is throwing people off his board like crazy.
all of the think-tank old timers have moved on.

it's fairly well established that organized social activity is almost non-existent in kingdom halls worldwide.. .
the purpose of going to the hall and preaching is to worship god.
yet, the wt leave out a critical component to their.
During the 1980s, my congregation in small town minnesota was very social. There were many rollerskating parties, grad parties, softball games, football, etc, etc.
I seem to recall that around the late 80s, early 90s all of that was pretty much gone. The rollerskating was completely gone,, rarely was there even a softball game. It's like someone
put a stop to the entire social scene. Anyone at that same congo would argue that they still do those things, which is true, but it's just a fraction of what it used to be.
Ofcourse I haven't been there in more than a decade so maybe they are now social again, however I doubt it.
last week i received a home visit from a couple of elders because they were concerned about my spirituality.
and lack of progress.
i said so you can guarantee the end will be here in 5 years.
THE SKY IS FALLING!!!
when i first heard of the new watchtower arrangement, i immediately thought it was another in a long line of cost-cutting moves.
i thought they were interested in cutting the overall number of magazines they print every month.
so if they printed 20 million copies every 15 days, they could now print seven or eight million out of one of the monthly editions and cut over 10 million of magazines a month.
It is about money, but it's even more about control.
ok so i here i am about to turn eighteen next month and im staring off into the oblivion otherwise known as the rest of my life.
i'm young, fairly healthy, and anxious...for what?
don't ask me.... hormones raging through my body and ive done so many "disfellowshipping" offenses recently that its almost embarassing lol no actually i feel no regret ironically enough and havn't caused any pain for me or any otheres.
I swear:
There are like, 5 guys here on the board that are all in their late teens, fer cryin out loud that have more sense than I had when I was like 10 yrs their senior...
Where were these people when I was growing up???
Good to hear you are doing well. Trust me, you are doing great.
I agree Kudra, why couldn't we have seen the light at such a young age.
I think this is a strong indication that the WT is losing control of it's membership. More people are seeing the truth and seeing it at a younger age.
for whatever reason.
do you question it sometimes and think you should try to "reach out" to them again?
i was this morning and then came across the thread above and was reminded why i need to stay away.. but, still, i read threads of people who have managed somehow, despite being d'f'ed or faded or d'aed and think i might try to be more understanding, supportive, reach out or something.. despite all the problems growing up in a fairly dysfunctional family, i still feel a deep attachment to them and hope against hope that they might come to their senses (if they ever had any to begin with) and get help and leave the cult of jehobo; and we might reconcile, etc., etc., blah blah blah dream dream dream.. i deeply wish for them all freedom and happiness and healing and feel so helpless to free them of their bonds and yet see so much possibility for it, if only they could be reached somehow.
Ariana,
You should always stay close to your family if you are a christian or not.
I agree, family and friends should look past minor differences such as religion.
What ever you think you know about them you never really know unless you yourself enter the kingdom Hall and find out what they teach.
What they teach at the Kingdumb Hall is to divide families based on religious differences. They teach at the Kingdumb Hall to shun anyone that that leaves the j-dubs, even if they are a close family member.

during my tenure as a jehovahs witness, i brought it to the elders attention to refer to .
me by using my first or last name when addressing me.
I'm rather fond of my new title:
APOSTATE!
this weekend was my wife's convention.
i attended with her on friday morning.
she attended alone during the afternoon as i had some clients to meet with for my business.
The attendants should walk around with buckets of fish,to encourage all the JW Seals!..LOL!!...OUTLAW
LOL @ Outlaw!
I'm sure you'll get a nice refreshing nap. I caught a few j-dubs in my area snoozing away.
Maybe I'm wrong, but did you send in your DA letter about a year ago? Or maybe that was another poster I'm thinking of. If did send a DA letter in,, then how is it that you were
invited to attend with another j-dub?

Am I seeing correctly? Is that chap in front of you wearing a YELLOW shirt? the rebel!
Yep, it was yellow, but he was wearing a tie, so not so much of a rebel.
I saw one young kid that wore casual dress pants, with a t-shirt, then an unbottoned shirt over the t-shirt. I believe he and I were the only ones not wearing the standard
suit and tie. I like dressing up, but refuse to do so for the j-dubs, so I wore business casual pants, with a golf shirt. I was a minority, and the prying eyes confirmed it.
