Most likely you won't have any damage to your vehicle. I would say that your biggest risk would be long term damage to a catalytic convertor, but that is only if you run that stuff on a daily basis. Once in a while shouldn't hurt it, but if you try burning that stuff during a smog test then you may run into a bit of trouble and have to retake the test with a cleaner fuel.
well it is official....i am out!.
got a call this morning to confirm usual social activities.. enrolled both kiddos in vbs at the various denominations locally (they all work together to have a vbs every other week throughout summer).. 3 jw mommies are allowing their kids to attend the sb vbs next week.. no invites to the dc, only pleas to drive up and co-host the hooky pool party.. i feel kinda guilty since i know many damn near everyone has have had such horrific experiences leaving.. i wanna tell everyone thank you!

If you are due for a smog test here in california, be sure not to use that cheap fuel. It's not as clean as ours and you may fail the test.

so, the long awaited trip began for my son and i to return to the same place he heard a bigfoot a year ago in the forests of northern california.
the trip started out unfortunately for us to be a 7 mile hike instead of a 2 to 3 mile hike in to our base camp , as huge snow drifts covered the road , making it even inaccessible for 4 wheel drive, so , with packs on backs we hiked over 50 ft long snow drifts on places on the trail.
even snow was covering one creek near the lake we were destined for .

Yeah I see SUV's all the time, and yes they are making a poor "green" choice. No argument there. What do want? Blood? Hell string up anyone in an SUV, is that what you want?
I've already said what I want, and so far I've received it. Higher energy costs. When it affects the SUV driver's wallet, then that person will make a better choice. That same person will then demand more options and will receive them. When a majority of us have made better choices and demand changes, it will then happen.
I'm not smug, nor do I have all(or any) of the answers. I just have a different view point. I also enjoy reading about your opinion.

I agree. I believe there is plenty of time to come up with solutions. Now that we have the incentive, I hope that it will happen.
last night at the gas pump i had a verbal , emotional outburst , swearing to no one in particular - just the gas pump , until i saw 2 guys at the island down from me - so i figured i'd let it rip !

Last year I spent more than 14,000 on fuel. I'm not a truck driver, but I'm self employed and spend 6+ days on the road each week. This year I bought a fuel efficient vehicle that cut my fuel costs by 2/3rds
I know that's not always an option for small businesses that require the use of larger vehicles, however there are still options out there for almost everyone. Even the trucking industry considers it feasible to achieve 10 mpg on a big rig.(new rigs are being developed with fuel economy in mind) Changes will happen now that we need them and want them.

Change must take place from the top down and so far we've elected fools and smarmy liars who have told us what we wanted to hear.
So I guess it's all the fault of those few elected officials whom we put into office.
I have no problem admitting that I'm at fault for making bad choices. Ah what the hell, I'll even take full responsibility for the entire world's energy crisis as it seems the majority want to put the blame on the backs of the elected officials, whom we put into office.
I don't understand why people have an inability to be accountable for their own actions and accept their equal ownership in the problem. Instead they look to blame everyone else. Big oil companies, mid east countries, government, etc.

My big dream, foolish I know, is to find a way to get off the grid and be energy self-sufficient.
Even better, if you could have a surprlus of electricity that you put back into the grid forcing the electric companies to send you a check each month.
