As long as your in, be sure to reap the benefits. Buy a new house? Time for a house warming party with lots of gifts. New baby? Time for a huge baby shower. I've seen completed faded jdubs do this. They would attend meetings for a week or two prior to having a housing warming party or whatever the event was, and then disappear for months or even years. I always thought it was hilarious.

Not much different from a jw witholding proper medical treatment and watching their own child die. I've got a couple of worthless jw relatives that refused blood for their child. Fortunately the courts stepped in and did the right thing.
Such a shame to see this young life snuffed out.

are they not wonderful
by booby inso if i have it right, in the dominican republic, right next door to haiti they have huge gatherings that would obviously eat up vast resources, both financially and food stuffs etc.
instead of cancelling and diverting this to haiti they ask for more money for the "world wide" work.
and emphasis every little thing as wonderful on them.

What happened to your marriage after you stopped believing?

others were able to free the minds of their spouse.
i'm assuming the latter is a lot more rare.. anyone that wishes to share their story, please do.. i'm looking to pass the info on to someone who doesn't totally believe, but may marry a jw.

If you are having financial difficulties and are at risk of losing your home, you should consult a bankruptcy attorney. On the other hand, if you've decided that you don't want to make your house payment because you no longer like the terms of the agreement you signed, then you should seriously question your personal character.

by shopaholic inso it appears that jws are letting their freaky side come out on fb for everyone to see.. there was talk on the ca yesterday strongly warning all true lovers of jehovah to delete their fb accounts.
the talk was solely about fb.
the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.
