  going from one religion to another

  as a former jehovah's witness have you been enticed to consider another religion perhaps, seeking to find "the truth" ?

  this is a dilemma that certain individuals.

  religion is an attempt to mix legalism with spitituallity...

  spirituallity, can only be found within....

  If I were to say I worshiped anything... I'd have to say that I worship the Cannabis plant....

  If these are the Last Days why didnt Jesus mention Global Warming?

  in a recent poll students rated global warming as their number one concern for the future.

  i guess terrorism comes in also at the top of the list.

  neither of these are included as signs of the last days.

  what is it that you do in life that makes you feel like you are accomplishing something important?

  something that makes sense to you and gives you a sense of personal satisfaction.

  for me it has always been my work of helping others as a nurse.

  Things peculiar to your country!

  ok, if i came to your country (usa, canada, france, holland, oz....wherever) what should someone experience or sample before they leave....to give them a true taste of your homeland.

  limit it to 5 per post....if you can.. i'll start with england/britain.. english ale, the lake district (england), to get a true taste of england visit the city of bath (or maybe stratford, though a bit too touristy), sample some black pudding (blood sausage .

  c'mon you patriots!!!!.

  Name Things JWs Try To "Demonize"

  the witnesses are always trying to scare the faithful by telling them that if they don't adhere to the teachings and lifestyle of the brotherhood-----that bad things are going to happen to them.

  for example, they might tell you of brother regret who left the "truth", had "fun" in the "world" and then got aids.

  now he's back in the "truth" but he only has months to live................can you think of other examples of how the witnesses try to spook the rank and file?

  What is the meaning of life?

  i was reading about experiences of those who smoked 5meo-dmt, found in the venom of certain toads, i had got a hold of 1/2 of gram of the 99% pure stuff and smoke it about 20 or 30 times, it a very intense trip, that allows you to see thru many of the progams we got running around in our minds and concepts we've been brainwashed with from government and culture(that's about the best way i can discribe it).

  any way this experience that i take a quote from is after he came down enought to be able to speak english(i often spoke in tongues when first becoming able to speak) i thought he gave a pretty good answer to the question:i felt so clear-headed about everything that i asked my friends to just go ahead and ask me something, anything.

  one of them asked me 'what's the meaning of life?
