  the two ways to look at them for a witness.

  one, is celebration: that could mean ceremonies, rejoicing, having a christmas tree, and decorate the home.. .

  Witnesses usually take advantage of holidays by using cheap air rates on airplanes,etc... I can see where they do make a point about Christmas being so commercial and where it has nothing to do with Jesus Christ for a lot of people! Santa Clause, really replaces Jesus Christ on Christmas! Kids are all excited about Santa and the gifts under the tree instead of the Birth of our Saviour! I know that its all in fun and no harm is meant but in reality what is really happening? I watched a film by Jeremiah films which I downloaded the other day on the true meaning of Chistmas and all its origin. It was quite interesting!

  Over 160,000 Simply Left The "Truth" Last Year

  that was the comment that a former elder made at the local meeting today in his comment.

  evidently, he and his wife heard a bethel speaker's comment during his talk say that (i believe the figure was) 167,000 people did not get disfellowshipped but simply left.

  the ex-elder made it a point to say that the elders should be watching to help out the flock before they up and leave.

  A lot of Jehovah's Witnesses are now online and so they are browsing the web and finding a lot of stuff they didn't know about themselves! The real truth. The Watchtower can't be with them all the time so when there in the privacy of their own bedrooms they surf the web unabstructed. Personally I know one family (Jehovah's Witness) that are really caught up into money and all the worldly things like boats, new cars, etc.... Cleaning floors can be quite prosperous when you have all the business and you have all the contracts in a whole province like NewBrunswick! I don't have a problem with that but are they not preaching not to be wealthy or into acquiring things of the world!

  Jerimiah Film on Jehovah's Witness History!

  hi, i'm fairly new to this site but i downloaded a film about one hour long on the history of the jehovah's witnesses!

  i found it to be very good but i doubt that i could get someone (jehovah's witness) to watch it since they are ordered not to watch anything that might enlighten them event though the film is all truth supported by there own watchtower publications!

  if any one is looking to see this film do a search for jerimiah films in limewire or kazaa, etc.... i know theres a lot of crap on these download sites but there are also good stuff!

  hi, i'm fairly new to this site but i downloaded a film about one hour long on the history of the jehovah's witnesses!

  No I can't except to tell you to download it yourself with Kazza or Limewire or Bearshare, etc....You'll find it pretty easy that way! Its a must see film in my opinion!!!!

  Struggling in a relationship with a JW

  i have a boyfriend of four years who is a jehovah's witness.

  i had no idea what it was when i met him.

  his parents recently got divorced and he is living with his mom who is jehovah.

  If you can download the Jerimiah Film on Jehovah's Witness History by doing a search in Limewire or Kazaa! Everybody including all Jehovah's Witnesses should see this film and even though it is an older film it is quite relevant! It is about an hour long! Have him see this film but I must warn you, all Jehovah's Witness are told to strictly not watch or read anything that is against their religion even though it is the truth supported by their own Watchtower Magazine! A must see film!!!!
