Questions concerning 607

i am sorry to hash and rehash this old topic, but i have a friend that has continually asked the wt's chronology of 607 and that historians do not agree with their thoughts on their selection of this date to "fit" their ideaolgies.

could someone give me information from credible historians that absolutely prove that 607 is impossible?

this person has looked up information and what they have found so far is that most websites or some persons on this site do not show conclusively that 607 is not credible.

BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?

i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.

while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).

a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

i have not and so that only leads me to believe that they charter jets to move them around the world.

Divorce fighting

i have a question for anyone interested in debating this:.

when a married couple wants to separate, why is it relevant in court on the reasons for it?.

if the hubsband is caught cheating, how does telling the court make a diffrence?.

Who here has been a victim of the borg's seperation/divorce policy when they in fact did nothing wrong (meaning that they did not commit the dreaded adultery) especially when the "innocent" mate was still going to the cult's meetings and the "guilty" party was not going to the meetings. With this being said, all of the cult's members would believe that the guilty party was guilty based on not going to the meetings

Does anyone have any information that could either support or refute the statement about him? Any information on this matter would be helpful.

if meeting together is to be taken to mean, five meetings a week that we must never miss, what about the command at rom 16:16, that says to greet one another with a kiss, or mt 6:9, you must pray this way???

jw's don't greet one another with a kiss, nor do they pray the lords prayer.. peep.

There is a common misnomer among the JBUB faithful that Heb. 10:24, 25 is a command, however upon further study it is an exhoration rather than a command. One cannot go above the two commands of Jesus, that is, love God and your neighbor.

Can a regular JW sue an Elder?

however, when one chooses to sue an elder, this would be a disfellowshipping offense because the elders are considered to be the society's representatives and an act of a lawsuit against an elder would be considered an act against the society because of the elders being considered their representatives.. .

Supposedly a new decree has gone forth and plainly stated that a regular dub cannot sue an elder, however, it is acceptable for the society to sue other individuals for supposed copyright infringements. Also, marriage mates that are now seperated or divorced can sue one another with no threat of df-ing.
