does anybody know what it means?
There was nothing on the egg. My son used a white crayon to draw on some eggs but not this one. And the crayon made a bold broken line. This design was very fine and detailed. People who see it say it was drawn on because it is so distinct but it was not drawn on and it has no breaks in the shell.

not all that post here threw the bible and the bible god out the window when they exited the dubs, but many have.. for me personally, i never doubted god or the bibles authenticity untill years later when i began doing a re-search on the bible canon and how it was formed.
from there, i began looking at the sceptics view of the bible and it's god which then changed my views.. i guess my question is, why did you ( those who disbelieved god/bible upon exiting the dubs)... throw god and the bible out the window before you had re-searched it enough to make you believe contrary?
if all you really knew was that the wtbts was bunk, what made you feel the bible and it's god was bunk too?.
Belief in the Bible is a matter of faith as almost nothing in the Bible can be proven. When I began to question my faith I found no answers, not from the WT, not from the Bible. So I have no faith in the Bible. I think that I beleive in God and other spirits because I do not believe that the earth and life could be here without creative thinking and higher power. However I am still a little mixed up about were God came from.
i was in the grocery store and met a cousin i haven't seen in years.
the first thing he asked me was, do you go to the meeting now?
he mentioned how armageddon was so close.
It is interesting to me to see so many people trying to prove or disprove the witnesses buy using the Bible. The Bible acount of Jesus was written two generations after the man died! That is like writing the story of some WW1 or WW2 man without any eye witnesses or documentation. Do you really think it would be accurate?
I don't agree with the witnesses but I don't think that the first century religions were right either.
many of us are familiar with the theme of this years district convention, "deliverance at hand".
i don't know if the publication release has been leaked yet, but i thought it might be fun to speculate about what it possibly could be.

i don't know if it is a good or bad thing but my view of jws has got dimmer since i joined jwd.
the reason i'm not sure is because i don't dislike the jws per se as i've met some good people but at the same time i feel more suspicious of these people's drive and motive - i'm talking about the ones i know personally.
i find that disconserting and uncomfortable.
They are now to shun all peole who leave or are disfellowshipped. If you are a close relative you can have family business dealings only. Even family business should be kept to a minimum. The non-zealous use this as a loophole, the very zealous will not even let you know that family members have died. Funny thing is my parents where never zealous. Now it is as if the issue with me is their last test of faith to God before they die.

I want to apoligize for being less than tackful in my earlier comments. I am very empathetic of others, I consider myself a nice person and the last thing that I want to do is make someone else feel bad. I do have some anger toward the WTS, I am getting over it but takes time and this forum is the first time that I have had the opportunity to express myself about the WTS. I was the congregation secretary. My wife and I both told the other elders that we were leaving, don't bother us. They harrassed us for 3 years when they would see things like when they read in the newspaper that my wife gave blood. Then (2 years ago) I wrote a letter to the elders and the WTS. Now when I see witnesses in the store they turn and run the other way, my brothers will not speak to me and my parents will not speak to me. A great loss? no, obviously they are not that good of people but it is hard to face the fact that your parents and brothers don't like you anymore. Maybe it would be easier if they did bad things to me as then I would hate them back and feel no loss but as it is I don't dislike them for it. I believe that witnesses are like watchdogs, they are very friendly and loving when you are inside the group but when they sense that you do not belong OMG watch out!

One thing to keep in though, most other religions do not go to extreems to make sure that everyone knows that JW children are different from other school kids. They don't make it a sin to have friends that are not of their religion. They don't instruct family members to abhore one who chooses not to believe anymore. They don't make saving your life with blood a sin. They don't say it is ok to take blood fractions but difellowship you if you give blood to help other people. I could go on and on but my point is that I am fine with the fact that most religions think they are right, the problem is they are extreem, they are high control, they take away love and happiness and the ability to enjoy the life that we are now living. You can only love others if they are witnesses, you are to live small, give to the WT, hate the world around you while you look forward to the paradise.
