Better Live Recordings than Studio
by OnTheWayOut inname some of the best "live" recordings of your favorite music.
i usually like the studio versions better, but many times, it's not the best.. i'm not talking about being there- getting the live experience.
typically, that is always better than listening to a band or artist.. what i am asking for is your opinion about what bands or artists have their stuff played on the radio or on an album and the live stuff is the stuff we remember to be better than anything studio recorded.

Armaggeddon may occur invisibly
by mankkeli inat the end of today's meeting, some over-righteous friends were discussing the various possibilities of armaggeddon occuring invisibly, considering the explanation given within the "parousia" domain on the invisible presence of christ in 1914. they reffered to some articles which i am presently looking through.. .
while he was sitting upon the mount of olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence [pa?rou?sia, greek] and of the conclusion of the system of things?.
"in our day, then, what is meant by the biblical expression the presence of our lord jesus christ?

never before 1995...no date or period for the end...we are in uncharted waters
by oompa inright now.......and since 1995.....wt has no real teaching to show how close we are to the end......none......most dubs prob dont even know......but wt has always been about dates.....and how close the end is to those dates......but now.....since we unplugged the generation of 1914 to the end of the world.......and now that we are still recruiting the anointed for heaven......the last days can last and last and last......duh...that is why they are called the last days!!
!........and so do they still teach it is "very, very near" (only used one time in wt)....or "imminent" ??
?......just a year ago i think?.......so how close do they say we are now and why?.........damm the bible is soooo clear that nobody knows the day or hour...yet i bet they still say is just around the corner (based on what scripture!?!??!?!?!)..........

Unexpected JW reaction
by cameo-d ini talked to a jw i know and got an unexpected reaction.. i mentioned some of the "conspiracy theory" stuff i have heard...about one taken, one left behind ...and what i have heard about people will be picked up in the middle of the night and taken away to "places".
this jw took it right in stride and said "yes, that's the way it was done when the nazi's started.
many jws were killed then...blah blah".

Billions of Dollars pumped in overnight? Where is it coming from?
by restrangled inwhat i gathered was the fed's release banks from having to hold on to the current minimum cash requirements, which allows them to loan out more cash reserves.. from: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20218020/.
one of the broadest tools the fed can apply to the supply of money in the system is raising or lowering the amount of reserves that banks are required to hold in their accounts.
raising reserves means banks have to hold onto more money, which tends to tighten credit.
