I wear perfume maybe 1/2 dozen times a year. People will tell me I smell nice sometimes and it's just my hairspray. I figure that's enough of a smell. When I do wear it, I wear:

Stupid mom.
by ColdRedRain inas a few of you know, i have a bit of money in my name.
however, here's the caveat: my bleeping dub mother is in charge of it.
i kept on telling my stupid dub mom to pull out my money while i can still buy a house and a car and forget that the girlfriend chasing, abusive, borderline personality disorder suffering bitch that's known as my mom ever existed.

I would be ranting if that money was mine and I was 18.
I would be thankful if I found myself 25 or 30 years old and my mom had held it until then.
It seems horrible to make a young adult wait for it, but it's probably wise. At lease with all of the young ones I know. I just now figured out how to be responsible about a year ago at 25. I never could have handled it even at 21. -

Unexpected JW reaction
by cameo-d ini talked to a jw i know and got an unexpected reaction.. i mentioned some of the "conspiracy theory" stuff i have heard...about one taken, one left behind ...and what i have heard about people will be picked up in the middle of the night and taken away to "places".
this jw took it right in stride and said "yes, that's the way it was done when the nazi's started.
many jws were killed then...blah blah".

I was always be careful not to say my fears aloud or Satan would use them against me in the GT. I was always afraid of bees and needles being stuck in my eye. I was worried Satan would have me tortured like this into renouncing my faith. Only if I endured faithful would I make it to the paradise.

Maybe the ones in Mississippi were different. The ones in our hall were over extended with debt. They figured the end was coming so why not buy stuff you'll never have to pay for. I remember my uncle was a "debt free" type and everyone criticized. him.

Do circuit overseers pay income tax?
by tiffy0212 ini'm no tax expert, but in the us i would think it would depend on their income.
there is a threshold below which you don't have to file taxes--5 or 6 thousand dollars as i recall.

This may be the real reason they want to dissolve the CO arrangement...Society could be held responsible.
Good point. That makes more sense than anything I've heard yet.

Would you allow Bill Gates to be born?
Gates is widely reported to display many personality traits characteristic of a condition known as Asperger’s syndrome. Asperger’s is a mild version of autism, a more serious condition that renders many children unable to talk, be touched, communicate or socialize. While I certainly do not know if Gates has Asperger’s, his difficulties in social settings are nearly as legendary as his genius, so it's possible.
The perils of genetic testingThat said, if you had been Gates' potential mom or dad 50 years ago, what would you have done if you knew about his abilities and flaws before he was born? Would you have wanted a child that would go on to do great things but would have a hyper-nerdy personality? What if the decision about whether to have a child like him also carried a risk that he might be born with far more serious disabilities? Would you have decided to carry the baby to term?

Since you on the right won't answer this question. Abortion
by dawg ini posed this question on another thread... namely burns and hooberus...wouldn't answer, so i thought i'd ask it again in an open thread..., .
you on the right disagree with roe v wade... so that means that you want to redefine when a zygote, embryo, or a fetus has what anyone would rule for lack of better words "the right to life"... .
exactly when is life, human as per your definition?

This web page has pictures of the babies at different ages. I think it helps me see that even an 8 week old one looks mighty human.
(graphic images -- do not look at this unless you really want to see aborted babies at specific ages)
http://www.abort73.com/HTML/I-A-4-photos8.html
Life begins at conception. This argument about choices and rape do not compute with me. It seems that if you are raped, murdering the resulting baby does not make one wrong a right. Adoption sounds like a "choice". Abortion sounds like murder.
Can't we work on making adoption more affordable? If you pay 20k to pay for an adoption, for many it makes it hard to buy diapers, food, clothes, and a nursery/bedroom. -

I don't drink diet drinks because I don't like the taste. I don't want to develop the taste for them because it scares me a little. Thanks for posting this though because I find it really interesting. I have long wondered if some of my mom's problems could be because of this. Renee
