the kingdom ministry for february 2008 states that in germany there are 36,000 foreign publishers in 531 congregations und 272 groups.

this is a collection of confidential letters from the watchtower society that were sent to the bodies of elders in the years 1981 through 2006. these are the letters that you were never meant to see or read.. there's all sorts of information in them ranging from the boring and mundian to instructions about how to handle child molesters.. many thanks to darth frosty and others (who i'm not sure can be named) who worked very hard and took risks to collect and scan the information.

Why say that then post them on the web.
It's all about the personal contamination that would occur between a True Believer and a df'd person, right? After all, every decent website has a good antivirus and firewall protection system, to insulate one from getting the demonic cooties that must necessarily ensue from direct contact with one who is described as "they went out from us, but they were not of our sort." The angels must be protecting the MS's at the literature and magazine counters, whenever a df'd person actually has the audacity to go there and ask for literature.

The insert in the May 1980 issue of OurKingdomService provided good direction on the matter of tipping. It is not against Christian principles to express appreciation in this way for personal services rendered by others. (Luke 10:7) Although this is a personal matter, to neglect doing so where it is expected may cast unfavorable reflections upon Jehovah’s people. To illustrate: The manager of a motel who cooperated with the convention personnel and arranged for many of our brothers and sisters to stay in his facility expressed concern over a problem that developed. The waitresses in his employ had told him that they did not want to wait on Jehovah’s Witnesses as they left no tips. On one occasion, a party of Jehovah’s Witnesses arrived just before the restaurant was to close. Arrangements were made for this group to sit together and be served, despite the fact that the workers had to stay after closing time to do so. It was reported that the only tip left was a copy of a pocket-size book that was released earlier that week at the convention. While so-called fast-food eating establishments do not provide waiter service and no tipping is involved, in restaurants where such service is provided it is left to the brothers to consider leaving a tip where this is the local custom.
Rule #1: Do nothing that reflects unfavorably on Jehovah's people;
Rule #2: When in doubt, leave a tip and some literature, thus doubly satisfying Rule #1.

If someone in your territory requests regular magazine delivery, please be sure to follow through promptly so that not even one issue is missed. Disfellowshipped persons may obtain the magazines or other literature for their personal use at the magazine and literature counter at the Kingdom Hall. Disfellowshipped persons should not be included on a personal magazine route.
I guess I'll just have to keep getting them from JWD! roflmao
