here is big contradiction between the watchtower and the bible:.

the watchtower society says that jesus christ was resurrected as a "spirit creature" and that he no longer had his body because jehovah (the father) "zapped" his body out of existence.. what does the bible say?:.

john 2:18: the jews therefore answered him, "what sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?".

Ah yes. To you, your world is filled with civil debates and intellectual reason, well congratulations in accomplishing what you deem ever so noble in your perception in life. Shall I say again that I do not hold such perceptions, and shall I say again that I am entitled to approach whomever on whatever "level"? Please, again, what is this "universal scale" in which you speak of that contains this measurement of "levels". The "Mock & Name Call" table?

They are the ones that need help, we are the ones who are out and free.

Oh boy...since this about Exetazo (and not one's who are seeking help or a different P.O.V.): They "need" our help? From what? Their chosen path in faith? Lemme guess, hindus, muslims, daoists, shintoists, tribal religions that follow Nephu the Jelly Bean God...they must "need" our help also. Right? I mean after all, we are ever so much more enlightened then these people. They are just so ass backwards and since we are "free", we just march right in and help them...right?(This is going along in concert with the "right" & "wrong" approach)

Let's band together to help them join our ranks and not wedge them further away from us like they do to themselves.

No thanks, I tend to stay away from "bands" and "ranks"...and those who promote uniformity with a common goal. I have my issues with the WTBTS...just like you. My unorhodox methods do not fit within the general opinion of how behavior is to conducted for simply I am who I am.

I've demonstrated plenty of times that, yes indeedy, I can be "kind" to those who are coming here with questions and seeking a different point of view. I've also demonstrated that I am, nor is ANYONE, entitled NOT to take crap from those who wish to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. I'll be the magnet for these people, for I have my personal reasons for doing this.

Now, after my lenghty retort I will resort to being my direct self and with no offense I say: When I need your council, I will ask for it.

The Simple Minded Bible Bully

There once was a little goody two shoe Witness that visited a board of free minded people. His name was Exetazo the Simple. Poor wittle Exetazo lived in a box with many many rules, and he thought that everyone else lived by those rules also. This was called arrogance. Also, Extetazo the Simple had such a closed mind and lack of faith, he believed that he had righteous and holy reasons to be apart of a group of people that had the only real "truth". This was called eltism.

Then one day, Exetazo came upon a wicked apostate site. Oh no!

Then, Exetazo posted on the site! Oh no!

"Jehovah" was very sad to see that Exetazo the Simple found himself "special". "Jehovah" saw what Exetazo was doing. Exetazo believed he had righteous and biblical reasons to post on such a site. Yet this was a big "no no" in "Jehovah's" eyes. Poor wittle Exetazo broke the rules from within that wittle box he lived in. Shame....shame. This is called hypocrisy. From that day forth, Exetazo the Simple was dubbed (heheh) Exetazo the Hypocrit.

Why?

Because when he told others to "spend your time what the bible tells you to do", when he...HIMSELF...didn't follow what "the bible" told him to do. He really didn't appreciate the "live by the sword, die by the sword" council in which he had read time and again.

Thus, Exetazo the Hypocrit, was defeated.

And D8TA got to walk away with the JWD Prom Queen OTS (hubba hubba) in to the sunset.*1

but my point was that the U.N. offers the greatest hope for positive change.

It offers THE GREATEST HOPE for positive change? Well...I'm sure all looks that way when one is wearing rose colored glasses I suppose.

It, like the U.S. 150 years ago, is in its formative stages and will likely have some divisions and troubles in the near future give it and mankind another 100 years and I believe the results will be good.

Just like the U.S. 150 years later (that would be today-by your reference) the U.N. will be more crippled and corrupt a 100 years from now. Let's use this U.S. comparison/reasoning that you've introduced in to your claim, shall we?

Let's see...in the past 150 years we have witnessed:

1. The stripping of personal liberties and freedoms of the citizens of the United States.
2. Political and social values of the Western culture enforced upon the rest of the world.
3. Socially elite and corporate interests placed above the common citizen of the U.S. and the citizens of the world.
4. Justice being biased and perverted, one's right to a "fair and just" trial equates to the amount of money one has and/or social status.
5. The continued pyramid process in economics, in which there are the rich on top and poor on the bottom.
6. Freedom of choice being eradicated continuously.
7. Intolerance of various religious groups. Intolerance of various beliefs. Intolerance of various ethnic groups. Double standards of such in the public and private arenas.
8. Freedom of Speech serve the special interest groups, as opposed to the common citizen. One has a right to opinion, but is condemned if speaking such if it doesn't follow the current "Politically Correct" idealisms.
9. Continued oppression of third world countries due to: corporate exploitation and oppression. U.S. policy and trading practices.
Etc., etc., etc., . . .

Only a few points...a very few.; Now we must realize this one simple fact is: No government, No corporate entity, No banking entity, No socially elite entity, No special interest entity is going to voluntarily give up it's power to the U.N. In FACT, the U.N. is influenced and run by such interests. There goes "the greatest hope" out the window. Sure the Utopian idealisms and struggle for a better world is going to tickle everybody's heart and mind. For "the greatest hope" to function and come to be is, at best, a fantasy.

No organization on this planet, be it (collective) government or religious, will ever offer "the greatest hope". Why? Diversity. You will have to abolish various diversities in this world in order to follow one common idea. Even if such claims are backed up in the noble cry of "tolerance".

How does any one, or many, eliminate a vast array of completely natural human behaviors? By law? By education? By indoctrination? Is "the greatest hope" entitled to "enforce" such a idealism upon the various citizens of this planet? They can promote it...yep, sure...but if we look at how it REALLY works, it's never promoted...but enforced. Even if such "enforcement" is not probable by the current interests and powers that run the U.N., for indeed, themselves are in conflict with each other.

"The greatest hope" works for you, because such idealisms and opinion rests within in what you believe would be the "ideal world"...one under the guidance of the (by your personal perception) U.N. For the rest of the world? Be it the powers a the aforementioned entities and/or the people who work with and under them, will never succumb openly to what would be called "the greatest tyranny".

The United Nations gives more hope for concrete positive change here on earth than any religion has ever or could ever do!

I'm sure all the dead children of the world that had suffered from U.N. sanctions and embargos share your sentiments. I'm also postive that all the people who suffer in poverty due to backdoor dealings with the World Bank & IMF with the U.N. also would like to send their support.

to many people, the new year symbolizes hope--a chance to cast away that which has bothered us, and to cultivate all of the things we have dreamt about throughout the year (but never found the energy to do).

i both believe in and love the spirit of the new year, but it is vital for us to remember that the hope we feel now is merely the result of a collective belief in ourselves and in each other.

there is no more opportunity on january 1st than there is on any other day of the year, yet we feel inspired and motivated to change our lives.

it's about a u.s. commando squad (escorted by some british agents...you know, they always need the u.s.'s help...heh heh) in ww2 given the task of destroying a bridge in europe as to prevent a nazi crossing.

Ever see that movie called Force 10 From Navarone? It's about a U.S. commando squad (escorted by some British agents...you know, they always need the U.S.'s help...heh heh) in WW2 given the task of destroying a bridge in Europe as to prevent a Nazi crossing. Comes to it, they can't really destroy the bridge...but thanks to the (ever so rare) quick thinking of one of the British agents (demolitionist) they decide to blow up a dam instead...thus causing the bridge to be destroyed.

Anywho, when this British agent and an American Col. make their way to the bottom of the damn and set the charge, and its goes off, the dam didn't blow up in glorious fashion. Nope, it took a number of minutes...a delay if you will...before the dam's structure started to crack and finally began to break apart.

Sometimes, when information (U.N. Scandal, Pedophilia, Take-Your-Pick) that is damaging to certain "organizations"...it takes a little bit for things to crumble. The damage isn't always complete, but sometimes enough to cripple. Patience is key.

Regardless, the information is out there...and thanks to the easy access to such with the internet and media attention, those who are told to ignore...really don't. It's inescapable.

I've noticed a huge influx of new people on this board (as well as other places), perhaps the dam is starting to give way from all the information explosions of the past. People are not stupid, no matter how much somebody may have a high control upon them. It's in our basic nature to question information that comes our way...much less ignore it. Sometimes, you just have to let nature take it's course and trust in time to rectify certain situations.

( all cheap shots to the British were implied in humor...because, it was fun. HEH HEH! No British people were harmed in the typing of this post )
