by John Aquila inwhen it finally clicked,.
and you realized there was no 1914, there was no generation that would see the end of a wicked system, there was no paradise around the corner, .

Mr Logic I am going to address the name Jehovah as simply as possible as there are already threads that break down the facts.
jehovah... is a german pronounciaton, of a word, yehovah, which was made up by a Dominican monk only about 500 years ago, by jumbing together adonai and yhwh... it is in fact not the name of the desert god.

JESUS COMING
by disillusioned 2 ini'm confused.
reading the day's text for yesterday, they talk about jesus coming and that it is a future time after the great tribulation.
i thought they have always said he came in 1914 and earlier at other times (russell).. .

Lets play devils advocate for a minute. Literally..
You are your run of the mill demon, jehovah is bad, human suck yada yada yada.
Your purpose is to pull people away from "The True God"
Now keep in mind you are a possibly very old, supremely intelligent, higher conscious being.
What advantage does it give your cause, to make people have more faith? especially by proving your existence? Strategically, and rationally it makes no sense.
I have heard many stories over the years, even first hand by some family members, and you know something about "Demon Problems". Its always the same person... over and over again. The fact that the same people are affected over and over again tells me they have another problem. The mind is a powerful thing, and if can create powerful realities, even ones that don't exist. Just think about these things.

i feel like their propaganda is longer directed at non wintesses being won over, but making sure the masses leaving in North America try to stay in.
Like the message when I was a kid was, "your religions is false because they are lying to you" now the message is "our religion is not false, we are not lying to you"

Mentally Diseased - is it partly our fault that we got this label?
by cappytan ini was thinking about this the other day.. a common way for apostates to "fade" is to pretend to have depression or anxiety problems.. is it possible, that when apostates become known, the elders report to the society that said person was undergoing mental health problems?
i can see a scenario where the society then took those statistics that were reported and just decided, "well, it looks like the only ones leaving are those with mental diseases.".
oh, and not to mention the subliminal messages conspiracy theorists.

That I do agree with Cappytan,
It is an easy out for us, but a reaffirmation that "people fully indoctrinated are the happiest!" When its really the opposite.

Some of my thoughts on this, I don't play the stress card too much, I hate the spiritually weak, moniker (i think you get it no matter what), but I tell them I am happier than ever, and that I was depressed when i was turning in hours and worried about nonsense.
I think the mentally diseased is 100% their fault or lets say 50/50. For me I was born in, I feel i would never have got involved if I wasn't. So lets say you join, I wouldn't call it disease, but being ultra religiously devout (cult) is like a mind virus, when you wake up, it does make you feel unstable, sometimes you flip out and lose your temper, you become obsessed with understanding real truth and it messes you up, then you get shunned and that makes you crazier. So I think the "mentally diseased" part comes from the effects of leaving a cult and losing your zen. When we appear to the RF zombies as obsessed and raving mad, because in some ways you do, and justifiably so. Important thing is to fight it.
